Need input/suggestions

Ok, so first I have an idea for a video blog/web show about PC maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, etc (mainly for basic stuff people should know) and was wondering if anyone had any type of input on how it would go over, do you think people would actually view it/find it helpful? (i'll probably be promoting it to people i work for/friends etc) also with this i plan on calling out douches on craigslists/other sites that are selling over priced/pirated shit

second: in doing this i would need a decent webcam/video cam, but also decent means relatively cheap, so im looking for suggestions here, i have all the editing and stuff covered, just looking for a decent cam that maybe portable.

I'm not sure what sort of reception it'd have. I mean, there already seems to be a fair amount of that sort of thing on Youtube and the like. There are also plenty of existing troubleshooting sites and all that you find if you Google problems.

I think, at best, you'd really need to generate a lot of content to be noticed. That, and honestly, a lot of it is the inclination for people to actually look/try for themselves.

Yeah, you'll probably need some sort of gimmick in order to keep viewers. There's just so much stuff out there already. I once helped a friend troubleshoot stuff from a public video chatroom and it was helpful for him to see what I was seeing on my screen and vice versa, although doing things one on one isn't what you were thinking of.

my main gimmick i guess would be calling out the losers on craigslist trying to rip people off
