Most guys I know who shave their face use girl shaving cream too because they tend to have more moisturizers in them, dunno about balls though.

Guys don't have to clean shave (although it's nice when they do, you can go all out without worry), but don't shave/trim and don't touch your balls. Nothing worse than nice and trim guy and his balls look like fucking coconuts seriously lol

Ya it's weird you'd think the ballskin would be super tender and prone to tearing but I've done that shit in a hurry with no prob at all. Ball skin is probably the most resilient skin on the body imo
