Comes down to STR+2 vs WS DMG+2%. Assuming best scenario for Orc Helm, that will bump you up 3 base DMG. One from fSTR, and 2 from secondary STR mod.
3 Base DMG * 2.0 fTP(It should be more like ~1.9 /w Hagun) * 2.5 (High end of Capped pdif) = 15 damage.
In order for MKD helm to beat 10 damage, you'd need to do over 500 damage on Gekko. (750*1.02 = 765). Which pretti much means even in worst case scenario MKD helm is going to be giving you better returns. Most of the time, it'll be a 0-10 damage increase from Orc Helm. (Which only requires 500 damage from Gekko for MKD to win.)
For Maats cap, the math is similar. Best case scenario for maats, the extra 3 STR gives you at most 3 base DMG, which is beaten by MKD helm as long as you do at least 750 damage. (Although you'll be getting 5-15 damage increase from orc helm more often.)
