What's Better?

I prefer COR/RNG when it comes to Dark Ixion or doing Fomor NMs. I like my accuracy bonus. COR/WAR for merits onry. Also, I asked about the Gun Belt because I wasn't sure if the skill could work like H2H skill, or if it could add any more bonus than the R.Acc/R.Atk. Excuse me for wanting to be completely sure.

So, how about Death Blossom sets for campaign/when I'm randomly farming crap without much evasion. Here is my current goal, what would be better?

Feet: Ogre Ledelsens +1 (5 MND, 12 Attack)

Works out to about Attack +72, STR+36, MND+5. Would it be worthwhile to use Aqua Ring instead of Triumph?

Legs I use Pahluwan for the Acc/STR. Outside that, looks good. Mine's more STR/ACC oriented just so I can get the most hits, but currently I use:

Joytoy/Sentinel's/xElvaan RSE Satchet
Voyager's/Gorget/Brutal/Triumph
Narashima's Vest/Morrigan's Cuffs/Rajas/Flame
Forager's/Warwolf/Pahluwan/Rutter's

Works well for me in Campaign and when I screw around as RDM/NIN where I replace Sentinel's with Justice.

Okay. I will have to see how my acc holds up. Currently I use virtuoso, sh+1, and o hat just because I already had them. Getting death blossom has made me want to optimize a little more so I kill coffer mobs and hakutaku eye droppers even faster though=p

For those who say COR/RNG sucks, why?

I like sharpshot + barrage = free WS.

So my question is kinda, what's better? /WAR and doing maybe 200-300 more on your WS every 5 minutes with Berserk/Warcry or getting a free 1200+ WS every 5 minutes with barrage which also does 500-1000?

What do you mean every five minutes? Berserk can be maintained 60% of the time.

Over on Alla, there was evidence that Fenrir's Crown applies only to bloodpact usage (and not normal melee). While it was too small a sample size for conclusive proof that it does not affect normal melee, it leaves me to wonder which is better for BP:R like Eclipse Bite. Fenrir's Crown, which "improves avatar accuracy", or Marduk's Tiara, which adds +7 to Summoning Magic Skill (which SE has stated will improve accuracy on blood pact: rage when your total magic skill is over the cap for your level).

And, I wonder, how in the heck would one measure accuracy for Fenrir's Eclipse Bite anyways.

I know of no testing done specifically on the crown, but other Smn enhances acc things are said to be 14 acc. That would be better than skill. Do people use Fenrir now though?

I apologize if this has been asked already, but how does Aesir mantle compare to Forager's on a sam against hi-def mobs/hnm? atm I go with brutal + pole grip + noct helm for ws, so +8% da.

Is aesir mantle ever worth using on any job that can use forager's?

8atk 1% DA (darks 2%) vs 16.5-17.25 + 75% 1fstr + 3str wsc

So specifically for sam you're going to have 9-10 less attack, possibly one less fstr, and 2-3 less wsc for gekko for a 1-2% more chance at DA.

For YGK, we already know that Askar's 2% DA and 12atk is inferior to 5str (3.75atk) from Osode. So for non-darksdays aesir should be inferior to forager's. Even on darksdays I don't see it beating foragers.

For NIN: Senj/Perdu still the best combo? Or is the D43 magian a better mainhand?
Not a mathologist so idk how'd the crit rate+merits etc would factor w/ Senj vs the DMG increase on magian.

DA on one hit WS is one of the most overrated stats there is. Your DA hit will have 1.0 ftp, and you will not have the accuracy bonus of the first hit on the DA hits, making it a miss most likely. 1% DA is almost like 0.5% damage ASSUMING you connect 100% of the time, which is another big if on HNM, more like 0.25% damage increase, which is far less than attack can offer on higher defense if you are not capped, which you probably won't even after the ratio bonus.

Magian Axe Bonebiter(Dmg:47+6) vs. Maneater

Probably a dumb question, but I wanted to see what someone else thought.

Get the Double attack 1h Axe. It's only like 2 damage less than Maneater with added double attack.

Dual wielding the 46/312 OAT magian axe with Temperance axe 39/276 would probably give you the best damage.

Of course that is assuming jailer weapons can proc with the magian weapons. Anyone know for sure if they can? I would assume magians is just giving you a DA bonus since it doesn't stack (can't triple), whereas jailer weapons seem to stack with everything.
