Need some help on getting a SAM build together. Personally, I don't know shit about SAM, so any advice would be useful. I know Usukane is top-tier, but thats not going to be happening since I don't have the gil or patience to devote to salvage.

Get a domarrruu or an askar body. Losing some acc/atk is less of a loss than losing haste.
Rutters are by default unless you got str 4 feet the best to use since when vs an hnm ls mob your gekko's atk isnt automatically capped and you should only be using gkatana vs high lv mobs unless unbuffed anyway(plus all the other "best" options are str+3 anyway).

Keep in mind that there's lots of rse good for gekko depending on your race.

Oh and try for usu feet. I know ya said dont do salvage but those by default are the easiest to get even if you find retards except for the 25 feet.

I just finished my OAT Bradamante and I'm looking for some advice on Gear Sets.

I'm Mithra, 8/8 Polearm and this is what I'm currently using:

The grip is Sword Strap which changes Delay on Bradamante from 507, back down to 492.

I realize that I still need N.Legs or Ares Legs as well as N.Feet for Drakesbane.

My main questions are:
1. I've seen discussions on diminishing returns for stacking DA. So, is Brutal Earring DA a waste when I'm already @42%+ with OAT Bradamante and Askar Body? If yes, then Assault/Aesir?
2. I probably have too much Acc in both sets (413 for TP and 419 + Light Gorget for Drakesbane). If leaving Brutal Earring on, should I use Aesir Ear Pendant instead of Assault Earring for TP?
3. If removing Brutal Earring, Assault/Aesir or Aesir/Triumph for Drakesbane?
4. What about Cuchulain's Mantle vs. Forager's Mantle for both TP and Drakesbane?

it is still 3% DA so nothing else should beat it. Leave that on both WS and TP.

As for Askar, it is not worth it, you should probably be using Aurum's, AF2+1 or the new SL body. As for hit build, if you want true 6 hit, you then can't use sword strap with either AF2+1 or SL body.

Also, unless all you do is bird merit, that accuracy isn't too much. For bird, just take off cuchulain's mantle and use forager or cerb's so you don't overload acc. I also wouldn't recommand using cuchulain's for WS, attack is still a factor, especially on high end mobs. And you also don't want to load too much more accuracy on your ws than on your tp, they should be pretty much the same since if you need accuracy on ws, chance is that you will need it for tp too, and when that happens, just eat food.

unless you're hurting for acc, or got large amount of dex already, then foragers is going to win on drakes.since you aren't using(/dont have) zahaks/n.feet etc for crit build, you're going to be better off with foragers

I got ethereal as well and to this day regret it. Wish I had picked hollow. Maybe one day i'll unlazy myself and do it. Hollow is a great piece for dd pld (if you don't have suppa)

Ethereal will be more beneficial for pld than a hollow will by far. If you use pld at all i would stick with ethereal.

I'd use Ethereal/Brutal when accuracy capped, get some MP back on AoE and shits (Sandworm for instance), Suppa/Brutal when not.

My understanding was that Askar > Aurum if you're capped Acc. If you disagree with that, please tell me exactly what gear I would be able to "Free Up" slots for?

As I said, I'm not focusing on Acc at all and still end up capped+ for most things. Consequently I'm not seeing how Aurum is going to help my cause. Maybe I'm missing something?

How does Ancient Torque stack up against Sea Torques? Namely, Faith (for PUP) and Fortitude (for WAR). Fortitude is used under WAR/SAM, and right now I'm using Faith on both PUP/DRG and PUP/NIN or PUP/WAR. Wondering which, if any, I should replace with Ancient.
