By the looks of it there is 2 Byrnie +1 on your auction house right now. I just used Askar body while I camped out AH waiting for a Byrnie +1, anything not Byrnie +1 is still just going to be less than ideal so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Looking to better my BST tp set my current set up is:

Man/Temp V. Stone
Turban/PCC/Brutal/Beastly
Haub+1/Dusk/Blood Ring/Rajas
Amemet+1/Swift/B. Haidate/Dusk

Now i know the first few upgrades would be suppa for beastly, aurum for dusk feet, and cuch for amemet. But is there anything else i can work for? Thanks in advance.

Well going off the numbers im getting with ffxicalculator I'm 5 acc short of 95% with marn pizza+1 (however I know endgame is not birds but i never get to go bst to anything else) now if i were to get aurum boots then I should pretty much stay with amemet/ upgrade to forager's mantle?

HQ dusk feet instead of aurum if acc is fine. Cuchu mantle if its not. Don't ever fucking touch NQ cerb mantle on a melee job if you meant NQ. Switch beastly to suppa ASAP. edit: Blah you edited to foragers. Also since your probably going to be sushi spamming on birds it should allow for a lot more acc to atk based swaps.

If you are using ga3 on multiple targets morri should win.

The more mobs you add the closer the numbers get so eventually yeah compared to NQ but HQ would still triumph. Either way Morrigan's are more useful.

Just got me Usu body 25/35 few days ago, was wandering how to make full use of it with Tomoe or Hagun. (Should be able to get 15 in a day or 2)

1) Full usukane vs Mix/match for Polearm and Hagun? (Lv4 Gktna, Lv8 Polearm)
2) I'm assuming when tping with Usukane Haramaki/Usukane Sune-Ate (Hagun case), sword strap is better?
3) When using Tomoe, is there a need to use Rose strap anymore? Or I can use pole grip?

2) yes. but usukane haramaki + polegrip + fumas is even better.

usukane feet ==> fumas feet ( for hagun)

Or you could keep your 2%DA (grip), 7 acc, 7 att(feet), and use Hauby+1(+15 attack over Usukane)... Keeping your 6 hit and gaining 7 acc, 22 attack, and 2% DA.

Unless you're saying 2str 2 dex 1haste > 7 acc, 22 attack 2%DA?

why would you use pole grip with haub+1 and usu feet? sword strap is 0.5%-1% better even after counting for the str / attack difference.


Edit: this topic has been discussed a lot already. the conclusions are

- sword strap + usu body + feet is 1% better than haub+1 + usu feet+ pole, if you ignore tha attack, acc and str differences. If you take those into account then it is better unless your attack is really low.

-sword strap is equivalen to 1% haste reduction if you have good haste gear, marches and haste spell. therefore fumas + pole > sworsd strap + usu feet if you ignore the acc and attack differences ( by about 1.7%). If you take those into account, the usu feet set up can remove 7 acc somehwere else to get more str or attack, for example torreador <-> str ring. but +1 base dmg is not going to beat +1.7% global damage considering the high base dmg of GK and the fact that hagun's melee dmg is between 35% and 40% usually, and less when the def of the target gets stronger.

- so usu feet + sword strap will be better only when you do not cap accuracy pre feet: you wear about 65 acc gear pre food, and pre feet, with max accuracy and haste gear. with hasso, full merit and pizza, you've got: 460+ acc. So usu feet will be better only when you need that much acc to cap. you cap at 450 acc on most HNMs. So i see this set up more of an option if you dont merit GK.
