This is an outrage and is obvious negligence on behalf of Walmart. Ask yourself why Walmart did not have their phones under lock and key? Why was it so easy that a redneck could do it?

All of these are egregious errors on Walmart's part and they deserve to be sued.

Well considering Hollywood studio execs pretty much accept that a movie will make no overseas gross with a black person as lead, you should not go out at night alone if you are black or even remotely darkskinned in much of Central Europe, I'd say yeah the racism overseas doesn't hold a candle to the random hick saying shit.

Same, I'm about 15 minutes from this store, hadn't heard a thing about it. Does seem a little blown out of proportion, is every store with a PA system supposed to keep every phone under lock and key? It's common social etiquette not to do this sort of thing, even down here where north jersey residents think it's all backwater hicks. Prosecute the guy involved, have the manager give his staff a lesson on keeping an eye on in-store resources and move along.

Also, seconding the south jersey sentiment, I'll happily take my flat-lands and not dealing with wannabe new yorkers if you don't want to call it new jersey down here.
