I've been to china in the past 10 years so I'm not allowed to give blood either
(also the anal sex thing precludes me but that's not as interesting)

Lol, yea. "Have you sex with another male even once?"
Never donate while you are working. Shit really sucks. Had a donation van outside of my old job about a year ago and being the giving person I am I decided to donate during my lunch I went donated and nearly passed out about 30 mins before my shift ended. Just don't do it.
It's obviously because you didn't have enough sugarz
Don't they ask you questions about what you've done that day/day before to make sure you don't feel this way after getting it done? Or at least tell you the risks so you know that you're going to feel like shit?
They were black, they didn't even offer me a drink till halfway through "Oh shit i forgot to ask if you wanted a drink, do you want a drink?"
was it purple?
Nah, only had shit I didn't care for, so I declined.
Wait... What school do you go to?
Just community college. Saint Petersburg College, better known as SPC
Imagine the amount of people that would be at risk of dying if a small minority of people contracted mad cow disease in the UK and a smaller minority travelled into the US. Now imagine the amount of people that would be at risk of dying due to a shortage in blood supplies due to all the people that travelled from the UK into the US not being able to donate. It is an incredibly selfish decision to deny donations on that cause.
I wouldnt want blood from mad gay cows anyways. KEEP YOUR BLOOD
Now imagine you are the spokesperson for the Red Cross who has to explain to the grieving family that you were aware of the risk, knew you had no viable test for the disease, but continued to accept donations from at-risk populations because your risk-assessment software told you it made sense.
This would be relevant if deaths in America due to blood shortages were a reality, but they are not. While the supply runs low during the summer months and around the holidays, we don't have scores of innocent people dying because there isn't enough blood.
I appreciate that this policy hurts your feelings, and for that I apologize. It might be a little too strict. But to suggest that it is 'selfish' or somehow represents a bias against people from the UK is asinine and downright wrong.
i had 2 white ladies for my platelettes last time. their question i found humourous was "have you been in the county prison/jail in the last 10 days?" yeah ok, 10 days. lol
i like giving out blood too. its like an oil change for your body
