I played it for a few weeks but I got sick of the servers with decent amount of players in being filled with retards. You can only carry a team so much in 25v25.

A decent commander is definitely what makes it. Having someone actually using VoIP to tell you what to do makes the game a blast.

More third person, it's mostly melee oriented but the ranged weapons do go in to first person. And yeah, one person plays it as essentially an RTS.
