If that happened, I would not be mad
I'm thinking I'm gonna really like Capaldi's Doctor being all rageful and stuff. Fits his Doctor a lot better than trying to be campy and fun for Clara. Her death was meaningless and a waste. Still never cleared up the finding your grandson at the end of time and saving Private Pink...

Malcolm Tucker. Still Capaldi's greatest creation. He does anger so very well.
And I think there's a lot we can explore with the Doctor being angry. You can say 9-11 were feeling guilty and trying to be happy as a defense mechanism because of the war. That's not the case anymore. But we have his entire people lost somewhere, and a moral dilemma about even freeing them, since they're not exactly his biggest fans, but he feels obligated to do so. And you have the 11th Doctor who said "A good man doesn't need rules...Now guess why I have so many." I'd like to see the Doctor lose "himself" for a while, and then find a companion that brings him back from that once it goes too far.
Hmm, I wonder if maybe one of the Doctor's daughters can make a return to set him back right. It would potentially be a great way to bring his grand daughter back. According to the Tardis wiki the Doctor claims to have left Susan in a "future england" because she fell in love. Who knows how future...right?
The Sonic makes a return in the finale.
Also, huge spoilers from the finale in one of the magazines over in the UK

Wow this last episode...it was a little slow at first but that ending.
Freaking loved that episode. Think its one I might actually rewatch again this week. IMO it is Capaldi's best.
Wow that was a phenomenal ending.
That was one of the best episodes in a long time. Wow.
Damn, you people are making me want to watch it. I was planning on waiting until the season ended to finish the episodes.
Spoiler: show
I still have a bunch of questions from the episode, but I assume that the majority of them will be handled with next week's finale... namely:
Spoiler: show
All these questions are, of course, due to Moffat's piss-poor writing; and yet, I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. Probably my favorite episode of NuWho.
Basically all answered by 4. Doc always does what he does, and knows how he does. And c'mon son, everyone knows that bird is the word.

Beautiful. Time Lord Victorious is back.
Capaldi's been racking up memorable scenes coming up on the tail end of this season. Between the speech about war and his scenes in Face The Raven and Heaven Sent we've seen him finally able to show those acting chops.
