I took that with a grain of salt. Moffat loves Red Hearings and this one was planted episodes ago especially since she is half Viking half Mire. It's a clever misdirect so I wouldn't be surprised if it is nothing but that.

I think the craziest thing I've heard so far though in regards to "Me" was that she was a fob watch Time Lord and she regenerates into Susan and goes back into the past and runs away with the first doctor.

Recently rewatched the entirety of 9th through 11th doctor series. I must say, the Ponds were, by far the best companions. While I still love David Tenant's doctor over Matt Smith, previous companions like Rose Tyler, Donna Noble, Martha Jones come second to Ponds. Clara is by far the worst and has contributed very little in comparison to others. Actually, I'll put Donna right after Clara in terms of usefulness.

Anyway, that's like, my opinion man.

Donna is different from the previous companions in my opinion because:

1) She wasn't your typical companion in terms of looks
2) She didn't see the doctor as a love interest.

I think these two things along with her no nonsense attitude are reasons why I liked her. For me its:

Donna >= The Ponds > Martha > Rose > Clara

What I would love to see though..Adventures with the 12th Doctor, River, and Captain Jack.

I read a fan theory about the last episode that would blow peoples minds if true, but it is a long shot.

The post Sims Regeneration pre Missy Master is on Gallifrey and is stuck there and cannot leave. He comes up with a way to bring the Doctor there in order to help him Escape Gallifrey (Clara's Death). The Master in the episode regenerates into Missy (away from the doctor) and steals some of the tech that is used in Under Gallifrey (The Matrix for the afterlife) and uses that in her plans (Death in Heaven). This would also explain how Missy always says that the Doctor chose Clara well, because she knew that Clara was the key to helping Missy escape Gallifrey.

The Doctor got mind wiped wasn't a big deal. I think the fact that Clara is "frozen" in time and has her own Tardis with Ashildr basically is going to piss a lot of people off. That and the fact that the Hybrid is basically the Doctor and Clara being together. That felt a bit cheap but it does make sense. Also, the most annoying thing is that as most people will point out, he would break time to bring Clara back to life, but can't do a damn thing to go save Amy and Rory.

Episode started out ok, but went downhill pretty quickly. Also, Donna #1 companion. She gave no fucks, kept the doctor in line and acted like a rational human being.

I am so sick of all this wanking over her in the show. This whole season feels like the worst kind of fan-fiction with Clara as the self-insert for the author.

Well, I think the issue with Amy/Rory is that...they had a good life. And he read they had a good, full life. That was the thing, he instantly read the "spoilers" about how they ended up, and they were happy. So while he was upset at losing them, he learned they had a full life together.

As for my thoughts:

I'm a bit WTF about the Ashildr/Clara adventures. But my only real issue is that it makes little sense for Clara to be able to be stolen from between two heart beats and exist for any period of time. Otherwise I'd find it pretty neat for those two to be off adventuring in their own TARDIS, occasionally coming in for a special episode with the Doctor (which they might do). But the whole no heartbeat thing is...wtf?

I don't get the Clara hate. She's not the best, she's not the worst *coughcoughDonna*. I haven't hated a companion like some here hate Clara since Mel. Even Mel I liked watching it as a kid, just can't stand listening to her screeches now.

As far as whether Clara could live for any time at the end of her time stream isn't that what the Teselecta was doing? "We take someone out from just before the end of their time stream, and we give em hell." What would be the point of that if the "hell" couldn't even last?
