Been a while since we've had some Doctor Who news, but tomorrow (23rd) the BBC is going to announce the new companion.

Pearl Mackie is the new companion. They announced during halftime of a soccer game in the UK with footage of them running from Daleks.

She was written off in the final episode of season 9. She's off filming a series playing Queen Elizabeth.

Well Season 10 started shooting yesterday. Usually it takes 6-8 months from the first shooting date until the first episode of the season airs so we could see S10 start Feb/March 2017. Also we get a Christmas Special this year which I believe ha s already been filmed but I'll have to check on that.

Yeah tbh I missed noticing at first this was for the xmas special...though from the clip it doesn't look very christmassy. I think at this point I'm more worried that both previews so far look horrible to me.
