It's super early but the UK bookies are already casting their favorites to replace Capaldi. One of the names I saw was Richard Ayoade (Moss: IT Crowd) and I thought "Hey why not. That could work" and it would be pretty damn awesome.

Season starts next Saturday. Also at the end of the first episode there is a huge spoiler (BBC spoiled it already if you haven't heard) in the episode 2 teaser. It's such a big thing that they even give you a ten second count down to avert your eyes.

Yeah it was all over the place. It's pretty awesome but I won't post it here because I'd rather people be surprised by it as I have a feeling people will LOVE it.

Could've done without the guitar at the start but solid episode. New companion was nowhere near as bad as the previews made her out to be.

I liked Bill (and the episode) far more than I expected to. I thought a lot about the first 20-25 minutes was extremely well done in terms of slowly laying the groundwork of the new dynamic. Felt more like a RPD episode than I can remember in ages.

This episode felt very much like the 2005 return, when they introduced Rose.

Well, there were a few other places but that was the only one I noticed stating it was fact rather than questioning if it'll happen or just stating it's a rumor.

Episode was pretty decent, wasn't hyped at all for this season but intrigued now if nothing else, at least we shouldn't have any overly lovey dovey fangirling over the The Doctor with this companion so i'm totally down with that.

As for the Kris Marshall rumour..meh, was ok in My Family from what i remember but don't think i've seen him in anything else to really make a judgement.
