I literally have no idea what happens next week, but I'm worried with how fucked up shit looks, they're going to have to pull some real deus ex shit to get him out of the box and keep Amy alive, although I kind of hope Robot-Rory stays around.

Gah, the only Keanu picture that has made me laugh. Very unexpected.

I enjoyed this episode, though the timey-wimey stuff sometimes makes my head hurt when I think of minor plot inconsistencies in this episode.
But I know to ignore that sort of thing and just enjoy the ride. It really has gotten very exciting and I've grown quite fond of this doctor in recent episodes.


Am I the only person who really doesn't like the Cybermen? Not for any specific reason, I just feel they're a bit of a crap enemy.

It's fine with me if the all look like 1960's B-movie rejects, so long as they function as though the show's special effects expertise and budget are new-millenium.

Cybermen for instance should not move like toy robots that came out of a cereal box.

Daleks? It doesn't matter that they look like an overgrown Roomba, but with unlimited godlike technology capable of penetrating time and space and obliterating the universe, I expect those appendages of theirs to have full 360-degree rotational capability.

Super very good :D It's just... Ugh. 6 months minus 1 day til the Xmas special, then ~ 3 1/2 - 4 months til next series. It felt so very much like "Stuffs gonna happen! New adventures next... next year /sadpanda. Lovely finale. Plus, very likely more River for years to come~

both at the episode and the need to wait. Even though I think they kind of skipped a few things, the episode was awesome. The new storyline seems cool if it's about the explosion of the TARDIS and River becoming more of a character.

Glad they didn't leave off the question of what blow'd up the TARDIS to begin with, or the whole "silence will fall" part. I'm satisfied with it being unresolved so long as the Doctor hasn't forgotten it, which means that it will actually be addressed in the future.

I'm disappointed in the lack of Dalek development. I expected that their restoration to pure form might mean something bigger, what with the Daleks being a cosmic level threat, and I'm trying to figure out how satisfied I should be that "Oblivion Continuum" Bracewell just continues living a normal existence, despite being an active bomb capable of wiping out reality if triggered. But hopefully, that's not a thread that will be left dangling.

And didn't the remainder of the Nestene Consciousness die in the first episode of the 2005 season? Robo-Rory shouldn't have existed.
