Words... words can't describe...
Spoiler: show
Total Whogasm.
The little 8 min special got me excited, but this new trailer totally over did it. I can't wait. Counting down the days till it's back on. Sharing this with the boyfriend when he gets home from work so he can whogasm with me in excitement.
So I just got in to Doctor Who lately. I'm about halfway through the 3rd season, but I like Christopher Eccleston better as the Doctor than David Tennant. I'm still enjoying the show though. Are either of the spinoffs worth watching? I think Torchwood sounds cool, though I didn't like how it seemed they were pushing it in the 2nd season lol. Also, Captain Jack is awesome.
torchwood is pretty great
I preferred Eccleston over Tennant, even though his run as the Doctor was shorter. And Torchwood was fucking awful imo. Was less a sci-fi show and more about human sexuality in my opinion.
As for the upcoming season of DW, I'm excited and nervous about the Gaimen written scripts. I haven't read any of his novels but his comics are amazing. As for movies based on his scripts, I saw Mirror Mask years ago and it was dreadful. But, I haven't seen Coraline or the other movie...somethingdust...
Yeah, Eccleston was perhaps my favorite Doctor as well, though I'll never deny Tennant his amazing performance, nor Smith his.
There was something... edgier, about about Eccleston's Doctor. He was less quirky and eclectic (as the Doctor is known to be), and more... grounded. But, with all of the genius and flair the Doctor simply must have. It's hard to explain.
Eccleston's turn was refreshing.
Stolen from my cousin as he's more a Doctor nut than I am. But he says at around the 37 second mark of the Trailer for the upcoming season there is a shot of the 10th Doctor's Tardis. Any of you guys wanna confirm this so I don't look retarded?
