Yeah I thought the exact same thing especially with the creepy kid sounding like the one from the Lodger episode saying "Can you help me". Also the new baddies are freaking creepy on the level of Weeping Angels

They're called 'the Silence', which would bring a conclusion to the whole 'the silence is coming' thing. Basically they were the ones that caused the entire last season to happen. Interested to see what they could do since they basically controlled the TARDIS and almost destroyed the universe before.

I think they're much scarier than the weeping angels

To me they're sort of like reverse weeping angels. Angels were fine as long as you were looking at them. Turn your back and you were dead without knowing. (Well.. in a sense. Depending which episode Angels. Killed "nicely" with the originals.)

These guys, as long as you look at them you know they're there. The fear is there. Turn around and you completely forget that there's a horrible thing behind you that is going to kill you. Of course they could just kill you while you looked at them..

Really liked some of the one liners back and forth between the Doctor and River. They really dove right into this new season. Hell, the Doctor dies right off the bat... Hope the rest of it keeps up the pace. Really looking forward to how this story arc is going to pan out.
