People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly... timey-wimey... stuff.

In the current reality Rory is human (not a nestine duplicate) and never got wiped away in time. the doctor erased all damage done by the cracks when he flew the pandorica into the exploding tardis. When the doctor reappeared Amy and Rory regained their memory of what had happened. the question is why River never forgot, as it was her giving her diary to Amy that caused her to remember and bring the doctor back. River calling rory the centurian is just a pet name.

Before the doctor restored everything by flying the pandorica into the exploding tardis, there is no evidence that River knew Rory. When he was "eatten" by the crack in the universe, it was as if he didn't exist. She referred to Rory as the Centurion when she was going through Amy's house and saw all the things that were being "replicated" including a picture of Rory and Amy with Rory wearing a Centurion outfit. She figured that they had to have been close and wanted to warn the doctor.

Now if the Impossible Astronaut episode happened in River's timeline before the Pandorica, then River would have met Rory prior to the Pandorica opening and since in that episode she wasn't properly introduced, she called Rory The Centurion in order to keep the Doctor in the dark that she met him prior.

This is how I understood it, by comparing diaries they get a vague idea of where each other is chronologically. As the cracks and the silence seem to be related, it makes a little more sense if this River is aware of the events at the end of series 5 (at least the writer won't have to waste screen time explaining the cracks to her). Also she didn't seem at all phased on hearing that the universe blew up.

Donna used to be my favourite companion because she was basically the Doctor's best friend and wasn't trying to get into his pants like the last two but I dunno if anything can beat the combo of Rory, Amy and River. River and the 11th Doctor have such good chemistry.

I like the notion that every time I see the moon landing, an alien gets tackled to the ground !

The photo of Amy in the girls bedroom plus talk of her baby potentially having a time head, could she have given birth to a pseudo time lord ? And after all the build-up the silence has had, I'm hoping there is more to it then that

they are probably still around given that amy saw one in the present day just don't have as tighter grip on humanity and they are linked to the timelord girl so will probably feature in the finale
