In general, I hate the complete disconnect between Torchwood and Doctor Who (even though Torchwood has become even more brilliant than before). As much as I'd like to see Harkness make a cameo, it just wouldn't fit with all the shit what's gone down in his own world. He'd be all like "Where were you when aliens came to get high off our children?" and "Ayo Doc, I got this Blessing shit, you wanna take a look at it?"

But for serious, it would be nice to see some of the previous seasons' cast make some re-appearances. Even if it's running into a bitchy Donna at a coffee shop or something.

Well two season is usually enough. Rose was around for what, two seasons, so it probably is time to move on. I wouldn't mind River sticking around a bit and having a companion around and all three of them get into trouble. But I will miss Karen Gillan.. beautiful woman even more so in person (yey comiccon)

If we have a wishlist for a new companion from his past, I'd love Christina from Planet of the Dead. Sure it was David Tennant but she held her own when paired up with him and would make for a great Dynamic being what she is. Of course, would she and Matt Smith have the same chemistry that her and Tennant did would be the major question.

I think the River stuff is done. There may be a lot of other adventures we've never seen and never will see. I think it'd be best to leave it up the imagination, only down side is we all know how that shit would play out since they're all alive anyways.

Unless they get a filler companion for a season or two they'll have to top Amy. Either in hotness or epicness. I think the next companion will be awesome. And no, it won't be a guy for the sole reason that's not how the show works. It's always the Doctor, a chick, and maybe a guy. But I will miss Rory, that fucker was just epic in every way possible. Was fucking Amy Pond, had River Song as a child, died many times and still came back. I mean come on.

Rory has his moments of insecurity and fear, but he really puts that shit aside when it comes to saving his Wife. I think as you said some people don't watch the series or only see parts where Rory does seem a little weak and skip or miss the parts where he is takes charge and elevates his game.

Think of the Episode where Amy had to wait 30something years(And did she ever bitch about it). As soon as she was stuck there, Rory went into Badass mode and told the doctor whats what.

The question and the message scene was hands down the most epic Rory scene. I think they will be hard pressed to find one companion as awesome as Rory and Amy. They better just get a smoking hot chick and have her topless the whole show. Then we might forget. . .
