    Something to ponder... just a theory

    Since we know that the Ponds will make their last appearance in the 5th episode due to the weeping angels, one has to wonder exactly how they will go. Russel T Davies angels just zapped people back in time and they fed off their potential energy, and Moffat's angels snapped peoples necks. I think the later is a bit of a violent end for main characters, so I think it will have to do with the whole "Whatever holds the image of an angel becomes and angel" kind of thing. Maybe these angels evolve to where if you look at them too long, you become an angel yourself in a process much faster than what Amy went thru. Somehow Rory and Amy become angels and in the process they are staring at each other and end up quantum locked forever.

    I'm going to miss Rory more than Amy but it's still going to be sad to see them go. I just hope it's not Donna sad. =/

    So they finally broke the 6 year tradition of starting on Easter weekend. And they're keeping the split seasons... That wrecks so many shows for me.

    Last I heard, it won't be back on until the 3rd week of November (17th) but I am sure we will get an official word sometime around ComicCon.

    In the first episode it is believed that Rory and Amy have a huge fight and Rory goes off to get divorce papers, but before he can have them served to Amy he gets kidnapped by Daleks. Later on in Episode 5, I think Rory will just become frustrated after their ordeal with the weeping angels (his first run-in with them, Amy's second) and they will get a divorce or he gets sent back in time to New York and something happens between Amy and Rory where they leave the show.

    What makes this interesting is that it has been said that there was a scene where he has divorce papers for the first Episode, but at the end of the episode, both Rory and Amy walk into their house together, so it is assumed that Rory is holding off on the divorce or they resolve their issues.

    My guess:

    He's tired of the Doctor showing up and putting their lives in danger...maybe he just wants to settle down and live a normal life with Amy without the Doctor always coming by to interrupt their lives. Amy always wants to go whenever the Doctor appears on their doorstep, but I think Rory really just wants to stay home with his wife. That's the only explanation I can come up with at the moment.

    Nah, just would not make any sense for them to split up. Did the papers actually have their names on it? If not then it could have been another issue with their normal lives or something. There is no way those two would ever split up.
