Matt Smith has a lot of eyebrow hair now. I always imagined he had ultra thin eyebrows
not too bad episodes.
call me old-fashioned, but I didnt like the intro-segment for this season![]()
Indeed, since shes going to be in it i assume that means we'll be getting meta-crisis doctor...well at least that would make the most sense lol, as for the new series i enjoyed it gonna have to watch it again to take it in properly since i was half asleep while watching it but did definitely like the new opening sequence had a old style dr who opening feel to it imo
So anyone notice the author of Summer Falls?
Loved Clara (can I haz a Jenna-Louise Coleman?), didn't much like the plot, tbh.
I noticed that as well, but not only that. If you look at the three characters on the cover they resemble Amy, Rory and The Doctor.
So who gave her the number to call the Doctor? She mentioned the "woman at the shop". Could this be River?
Also did anyone notice the 4th's scarf in the background when the doctor showed up at claras?
I liked how they handled Clara and how they made her smarter.
I couldn't get over how fast typing = hacking. That shit annoys me.
Also, Gandalf/Christopher Walken's character wasn't handled well. It felt underwhelming as a start of a nemesis for the series. I guess we'll see how next weeks episode goes.
By the way, why was it called the bells of saint john if there's only one scene there?
Yeah, I find it odd they switched to Richard Grant as the personification of the Great Intelligence instead of Ian McKellen. But perhaps McKellen didn't want to/couldn't come back for more shots after the Christmas Special.
My biggest issue: how did the Doctor find out where they were? Clara figured it out, she got taken, and then the Doctor was off to the building to confront them. And, finally, why was UNIT there? Did the Doctor call them and alert them?
My favorite bit: "Did you even hear the world 'antigrav'?"
Well I know Christopher Walken / Richard E Grant (can't deny the resemblance) was the christmas villain, and it was smart to not make it obvious, but it was too under the radar. Which now that I think about it more, it might of been smart...
What if:
Spoiler: show
@Qeomash : She did leave the laptop open with all of the check ins, which by the way is a huge plot saver... UNIT wasn't called, I'm assuming they began to put the links together as well? It could set up the return of former companions or even bring back the Brigadiers daughter as a supporting character (essentially making UNIT more involved with the Doctor as they go forward, much like the Third Doctor)
Spoiler: show
And, finally, yeah there were a lot of things that were pretty convenient plot savers...as per standard Moffat.
Indeed it was covered in Snow. IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW.
I also miss Davies. Doctor Who was a lot of fun.
Spoiler: show
As for the episode, I thought it was pretty awful. Hopefully the rest of the season is better.
More JLC please
"that's not a leaf, it's page 1." "
page 1 of a book that goes in the library in Silence in the Library?
Lending more to that theory.
