I think Amy's overall story arc was better than Clara's current story arc. It's still been a fun ride though. Only Cold War was outright bad imo.

Martha Jones or bust. Amy and Rose were awful. Donna Noble acceptable. Rory was a better companion than Amy.

I like Clara, I think I'll probably like her a little better than Amy, I wasn't too impressed with her at first either, but she came around. Rory just seemed to get in the way most of the time. And Clara is better looking.

Most important thing is looks and Clara has them all topped. And for the lame M.Night twist. The Doctor always called the Tardis "She". Clara IS the Tardis >.>
