FYI, Matt shaved his hair off for a role in some film. I wonder if he's going to have to wear a wig for the Christmas Special...

How was the trailer? Was it new?
The Trailer for the 50th anniversary was new and exclusive to comic con. It was pretty bad ass and November cannot come quickly enough.
Also a little explanation about what Moffatt said at the panel. Apparently at the Sherlock panel someone posted audio from the exclusive comic con trailer online within 2 minutes of showing it at Comic Con after he specifically asked the audience not to. He told us at the Doctor Who panel that if the 50th trailer gets leaked, there will be no more exclusive comic con trailers. So basically one person screwing it up for everyone. Mind you, a lot of people waited in line for the Doctor Who panel for over 12 hours and were lined up outside the hall the night before.
edit: I just read that UK fans are pissed off because the trailer premiered at Comic Con first instead of in the UK. From what I am hearing, the trailer we got at comic con is different than what will be released to the public since they are still putting a different trailer together.
I'm hearing there is going to be a second trailer coming out this Saturday that will be released world wide. This trailer differs from the SDCC version because
Spoiler: show
Spoiler: show
Haven't watched the ComicCon stuff, so if it's already mentioned, my apologies:
SFX report that:
http://www.sfx.co.uk/2013/07/29/monday-link-a-mania-35/The 50th anniversary episode of Doctor Who will be simulcast worldwide on 23 November (well, 23 November for most of us). Global broadcasters have agreed to show the episode at the same time to avoid any leaks and to celebrate the show’s anniversary. That means US viewers will be watching it in the middle of the day, while Australian viewers will be watching it early in the morning of the 24 November.
Not sure how much truth there is to this but we will see.
New Doctor to be revealed Sunday:
http://doctorwhotv.co.uk/12th-doctor...nday-52184.htm
went to look up the guy the mentioned as being at the top of bookies' lists or whatever, and one of the most recent roles on his IMDB page was " World War Z - W.H.O. Doctor " which is an amusing coincidence
I hope they go with someone younger than him.
Would be hilarious if they were able to gather up as many of the rumor-mill possibilities and have them attend the event. Or, get them to at least all tweet something about having a BBC thing on Sunday.
Is the special today being simulcast on BBC America? Or do I left to the internet as a means to watch it.
its on BBC america at 2pm est
