Also sorry if this has been reported already:
Matt Smith will be in the new Terminator Trilogy in a big role, but no one will say what it is.
And just for fun a video from the filming episode three

The role will be a set-up for a stronger role in the next two Terminators.Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions announced today that “Doctor Who” star Matt Smith will join the cast of the upcoming “TERMINATOR” reboot.

From what I've been hearing there is a possibility of a proper trailer next week. Also about the earlier rumor I posted
Spoiler: show
Edit, there was an article about a Rumor about Season 8 but the link was deemed to be a joke apparently... people suck.
dammmmmmmmmmmmm so excite
Hard to be excited with how bad the last season was, but we'll see.
I think this one is going to be a lot better. We have a more accomplished actor playing the Doctor, it's supposedly going to be a lot darker / have a much different tone than previous seasons. Moffatt wants to move away from "pretty boys going on adventures" and more towards something meatier and more challenging, or so he's said. He's written some fantastic episodes in the past (The Empty Child, Blink, The Girl in the Fireplace) so as long as he channels whatever writing ability he had at that time and tones down the cheese factor (and also gets some good writers on board for the eps he doesn't write himself), it should be pretty stellar.
His biggest problem is his need to throw in twists at EVERY turn, imo. He's constantly trying to one-up the last thing he showed you and trick the viewer into thinking one thing when really the show's doing another thing entirely. Sometimes he succeeds admirably, and sometimes it just feels like way too much and trips over itself. Season 6 suffered the most from this. I just couldn't be excited by the outcome of the plot due to its sheer over-intricacy...and some of the solutions ended up being pretty dumb, too. It's one thing to plant a surprise in the story, and quite another to make your viewers follow a labyrinth-like web of vague references, muddy puzzles and barely-noticeable tells for them to make any sense of the ending.
So let's hope the criticisms of series 6 and 7 have reached his ears and he drops some of the unnecessary frills and goes back to solid Doctor Who storytelling. If he can manage that, this could honestly be a great season.
I am a little bummed that there will be no Doctor Who panel at Comic-Con this year, but it makes sense seeing as how when they were in between Tennant and Smith, they didn't have a panel that year either. I am hoping they will set up something special at the BBC booth.
Also series episode information
Spoiler: show
Spoiler: show
The BBC is planning to show the season opener at an event in Cardiff on August 7th so I expect a lot of info about the first episode to be leaked online the day after. Not sure if this is a wise decision on BBC's part especially after Moffat got upset and threatened Comic Con fans last year about not leaking the trailer online.
Also, I am hearing this first episode will be 75 minutes long which is about the length of Day of the Doctor.
