    which, really, is the same idea that many women have had for years when they say they wear high heels at home from time to time too to keep their legs nice. Helps massively with posture as well, you can not slouch in high heels. But they do come with other problems if you aren't careful so not really recommended.

    You feel that shit FAST, the shape ups are a lot lower impact, but the same concept. Makes you tense up all the little core muscle groups, keeps you aware of the major groups, it's kinda like walking up stairs/up hill all day.

    my co-worker whom I walk with 5x a night during our breaks @ work swears by the Skechers. I dunno if it's a gimmick or if it really works. I can't try I am size 15 2E width. New Balance brand mostly for me.

    The Technique's basic idea is that when the neck muscles do not overwork, the head balances lightly at the top of spine. The relationship between the head and the spine is of utmost importance. How we manage that relationship has ramifications throughout the rest of the body. Our neuromuscular system is designed to work in concert with gravity. Instead of slouching or holding ourselves in a rigid posture, we can learn to mobilize this support system and use it wherever we go -- in the car, at the computer, in the gym.

    I remember in middle school the basketball teacher made the entire team where those shoes with the platforms on the toe-box, but since it's middle school and everyone was awful at basketball regardless, I can't really say if they were effective.

    I don't really want to dish out 100$ on shoes that improve posture when I can find a workout routine that helps my posture AND helps me stay fit.

    The shoes do help you stay fit, and are easily incorporated into a workout routine.

    Oh, my girlfriend suggested adjusting your bra straps, and if you can't find a way to help your posture that way, try one of those clip things that pulls the straps together between your shoulder blades.

    I never worried much about my posture, but a few years ago I got a job teaching ballroom dance. One of the things they had me do to improve my posture was stand with my back against a wall, and then the gap between my lower back and the wall, try to push your abdomen backwards to close the gap.

    Another thing, just focus on your posture while walking around. After a while it will simply be a case of muscle memory and youll do it without a second thought.

    Keep your drivers seat in your car at a normal distance from the steering wheel...but dont recline the seat at all. Keep it straight up (maybe just one notch down). The muscles in your back, stomach, and shoulders eventually learn that this is a "normal" position for them and they adjust accordingly.
    Going to second this, it did wonders for my posture. Plus it improves your driving quite a bit and makes you feel like you're in a racecar if your wheels have some RPMs
