Could always sell the coins he'd otherwise get from doing limbus and spend on Brutal, and spend that money from coin sales on more Byakko sets.

Sam seems to be his 'main' job going by the majority of his posts. He'd get more out of haidate than he will out of brutal for that job since the stp doesn't shave a swing, and he isn't going to come close to anything better for tp/ws with pole or tp for gkt in that slot.

There's always the chance, but lining up buyers while shouting makes sure you cover your costs on the next popset. Even if he still chose to buy the coins, selling the seal alone would rack up the cash necessary in 5-10 attempts depending on server prices, while still giving the opportunity to get the best item. That's less than two weeks of shout runs, a week if you do multiple runs a day.

Anyone who gives you shit over not buying something that you can simply farm in short timeframe is just being a douche (especially when it's directed towards someone obviously under geared who can better spend the gil), and can be ignored as such. Many of the criticisms that he receives are valid, and he honestly brought the rest of the useless stuff on himself when he decided it'd be fun to start trolling the trolls.

I've noticed the majority of people leave him alone when he's level headed and actually trying to improve himself, like now. Most of the responses ranged from disinterested people pointing out the obvious to people trying to get a better explanation.

So you might be like, "Oh, you got Altruistic Cape you lucky dog! What are you talking about?" but look a little harder, I implore you. I'm seeing a 3% drop rate on R/Ex armor from inside sea, all of which are listed as at least 15% on ffxiclopedia, and all of which were generally some shade of lowmanned between soloed and trioed. I've gotten about 5 donated chips and duo farmed maybe a stack, otherwise it has been solo on BLM/NIN. Hopefully Lakshmi will be kinder to me with drops than Garuda was.
