Make sure your antivirus and any crap like that is off before starting the game, it uses a system similar to gameguard which scans your processes while you play (anti-hack/etc.)

Like I said, if you have IE8 installed, uninstall it. Something with their antihack fucks up because of it.

If you're on Windows 7, make sure the game directory is Drive:\gPotato\AikaOnline and not in Drive:\Program Files\gPotato\AikaOnline
