6 new big NMs, 6 new rings?
good luck to any RNG scanning the snow zones ><
you may gonna have to send a RNG + WHM for all those raise 3![]()
It is entirely possible you can pop it any of those zones, and this allows multiple people to fight it at once. At least, that's what I'm really hoping for.
It's 7 rings. You guys forgot about the poor CHR one which nobody cares about!
i dont thing each drop a ring.
bcz some of those NMs are triggers and some have pop conditions
I wonder what the Ex items for them are for exactly(Such as Ruthven's Nail). I would say spawn them, but that sounds a little silly with all of these different zone possibilities.
Possibly it's a ??? point (or similar idea) that can spawn in any of those zones, and you must trade the pop item to the ??? point? Just guessing, but there are some fuckers that operate in that manner, though the ??? points are confined to one zone. It would not surprise me.
Using this idea we can say:
AGI - Clot (Blobnag being close to the clot's name)
VIT - Crab (Corneus is a type of snail so idk i thought it worked)
STR - Vampyr (above)
DEX - Dragon (above)
CHR - Pixie (Veela being a type of fairy)
then idk about MND/INT
Karka (MND) is a mountain and Galdr (INT) is some sort of Norse poem shit
ofc these leaves us one NM short so I dont think this is it?
There's seven new rings and six new NMs? Maybe one ring to rule them all?
I'm going to guess that I somehow just missed the dat that Krabkatoa was found, or that the mob is actually 2 models combined.. and the giant rocks are not viewable the way I'm looking for it (just like how furnishing isn't viewable the way I search dats)
After all, the rocks aren't made to animate.
also, if anyone hasn't stated the obvious yet, Krabkatoa is a reference to Krakatoa (a volcano in indonesia), hence the description of volcanic rock for the krabkatoa item.. and also the fact that one of its TP moves involves an eruption of sorts (like a geyser lol)
I really and truly hope this stuff is not similar to DI/sandworm, because that's such a difficult thing to dedicate your time to doing. On Bahamut I think most people have just said fuck it and turned it over to the resident shell of foreign NEETs.
I had an idea of there being 8 rings(The Evasion+6 one doesn't get mentioned because of the icon being different), but it follows the pattern the others do of +6 and it's Lv.75.
And well... Yilbegan pops in 8 zones >.>; It's an idea, but I'm hoping it's wrong lol
Corneus Ring has to do with "ram horns" - so I'm guessing that Capricornus (sp?) NM is a ram, and that it drops the VIT+6 ring.

This is all I have to say on the matter, Rocl.
