To me the fairest HNM camps in this game are the ones you cannot bot to claim on spawn, i.e worm and pony, tbh i enjoy hunting these two.

and unfortunately yes, you have to deal with competition for HNM, tbh if you could claim everyday your linkshells would cap too fast for the content to draw out, thus HNM ect would become pointless to do after a point.

I'm going to enjoy the wishful thinking that these aren't mainhand only restricted, and fantasize about rotating aoe flash and stun in campaign.

I'm really upset that those appear to be the only WS we'll get! It looks like all 20 jobs can use at least one of the weapons, so I'm already subscribing to the "we'll never get any other campaign WS QQ" camp. At least RDM (and PLD) can use all 3!

I pretty much do campaign on Rdm exclusively, so I have no complaints.

I'm tired of Khimaira & Tiamat with their fucking drop rate.

we have kill all Tiamat but 2 since January 1st and we got 3 gaiters & Khimaira drop 1 hauteclaire since december 22 and we have killed them all but 1 maybe.

Now that's a freaking BS, let's not talk about that damn Taru NM 2/50+ kill on that damn Blood Gorget. I think we are cursed, but KB drop 5 D.ring since December tho

Have you ever done an avatar quest, like ever? I'm willing to bet the quests follow the same reward scheme as the other 8 quests. You choose a pact with the avatar (i.e. the ability to summon it), some gil, or a rare/ex item (there are usually several of these).

I understand this, poster on previous page (or perhaps in the other thread) suggested that they were legit "HNMs" and not instanced fights, and the drops that were mentioned seemed a bit heavy on the "good" side to be rewards from Prime avatars. Sorry for the confusion and I'm probably just responding to wild speculation

I liked Rocl's idea for Yilbegan. Think he was wishing it to be that you choose which zone you would like to pop it out of those 8 different zones, which will mean it would be an instanced fight and perhaps you can have more than one group fighting it.

However, despite the few good gears from this update, I just don't see SE being that generous. One can only hope though.

I just don't think I can take another Sandworm style time-sink. Four Hours waiting for something to spawn isn't my idea of "fun".

Well you are not taking into consideration that SE said they were going to bring HNM that are more challanging bcz of the lvl cap to 99.

But wait we dont get to lvl up yo 99 till december

Also i have noticed a lot of gears with some high elemental+ so maybe PLD are going to need them for those HNM like when they fight Tiamat.
