and they are awesome...
I really enjoyed the movie. I thought it did what it had to do to introduce him for the Avengers.
Is it better than Thor? I think its on par really. Both movies had that Marvel-comic book cheesiness that kind of makes it clear that its going for Story over Plot. Which is perfectly acceptable for comic book movies.
Good movie, I wasnt overly impressed with the action sequences but the story/plot more than made up for it. Hugo Weaving was great as always, but I gotta say the guy who played Tony Starks father was my favorite. He was a like a mix of dicaprio in Aviator and robert downy jr, really entertaining imo

Let's talk about Hayley Atwell's rack... should have had their own billing. I liked the movie, didn't feel too long, lots of funny bits that were pretty natural sounding, and the action was good, like the first scene where Cap is actually you know, Cap.
Got back from seeing it a little while ago. I enjoyed it. I thought they did a really good job with the character. They didn't try to change him at all. Some people mite not dig that type of character now days but I think that's part of the charm, the old fashioned super hero who punches the lights out of the bad guys! I like how they did the whole WWII era thing.. like the part where..

Loved every minute of it, but fiancee and I agreed it dragged for a bit at the beginning (if only to set up the character).
Super-hyped for Avengers and can't wait to see more Cap. I'm especially excited to see how he acts with Iron Man.
I really enjoyed this movie, and I'm super hyped about the Avengers movie.
Saw it this afternoon in 3D. Wasn't amazing but wasn't terrible either. Enjoyable popcorn movie. I liked the campy bits with the USO bonds. Thought that was funny.
I missed the after the credits scene sadly. Really had to pee.
This movie has one of the more obvious Wilhelm screams that I've noticed in recent history![]()
Who knew that watching a guy run around with a white shirt could be so entertaining.
I thought this movie was effing great, well above Thor & X-men: First Class. It was like a good Indiana Jones movie(not counting the last with Shia Labeef). Great story, great characters. Tommy Lee Jones was gold. It even had the first flying car that's later standard SHIELD vehicles(well, atleast for Nick Fury). I was skeptical that Chris Evans could pull it off but he came through with flying colors.
When Cap broke out the P.O.W.s and the asian guy said he was from Fresno, everyone in the theater cheered haha.
I feel like anybody who doesn't like Chris Evans hasn't seen Push or Sunshine which are both great movies IMO. i like to compare Capt. to Iron man 1 with Thor, Ed Norton Hulk, and Green lantern, which are all characters for Avengers. ( even thought it wont be Ed in the Avengers ) All of these starter movies are more about character development than 90 min of action and i am interested to see the individual sequels maybe more than the jumble of heroes that Avengers will prolly be.
Green Lantern is my favorite Avenger.
agreed sometimes i make mistakes green lantern is not part of the avengers. all these super hero movies coming out at the same time and all. My opinion that i said still stands.
Not like he was in the preview for The Avengers you dumb-shit. Also, Green Lantern is my favorite Avenger.
i wish this was an avengers team with spidey![]()
