Here's the problem with your argument. Just about every other successful company that has at least one MMO doesn't pull half the shit SE does during maintenance.

SE is the low tier of MMO providers, and 14 isn't going to be any better because they don't fucking learn.

They SHOULD have been planning this prior to their announcement of the server merges. Not announcing it, playing FF13, alphaing FF14, then waiting till March 22 11am est to sit down at an oval table and going "ok Sundi, how will we merge the servers?"

I get "Notifying server of current selections" for 5 sec then "Unable to connect to area server"

Ok disregard what I said, chose wrong mule and logged in on Shiva but no characters on Bismarck work, FML

FFXI-3203 on Bismarck while trying to warp to whitegate. I did a search of the area first and it was empty. I should have known better. :/
