New Aketon, Campaign Weapon, and the Regen/Refresh/Regain pieces. 3 pieces, last two are Medal of Altana only, first one is just Medals.

Regen = ring , San d'Oria
Refresh = neck, Windurst
Regain = back, Bastok

oh and those 3 only work in Campaign ofc

It's easy to get 5k+ AN / hour if you go as a good job to cap out categories, but I still have crap for allied notes because Campaign is boring and has been crap since they overpowered all the NMs and nerfed Fortifications so I just do enough of it / Ops to maintain my max medal.

EDIT: above post was before mine, yeah I forgot you can get 7k+ / week off Ops too, which adds up fast.

How much is required to maintain a max medal?

I just ranked up for the first time, completing 7 battles, gaining 4780 EXP and 2472 Allied Notes in nine days.

I'm looking to understand what kind of time requirement getting and maintaining max medal is going to take.

Didnt see Aketons, awesome only 10/15k a pop.
Three new peices are skipable for 50/75k a pop.
Weapons still up in the air of course, 100/150k is a lot for just a WS unless it's super awesome.

You think pup/dnc net me more AN than sam? I also got blu mnk and sch lol not sure which best. I really hate campaign and my capped medal i think has gone down to mid lv now after 6 months of losing ranks.

While I don't have Sam, I usually do PUP/DNC with Soulsoother to cast debuffs non-stop while meleeing. Occasional Waltz if not Cure V in "oh shit" situations. This is without soloing mobs and I tend to get 2-3k average depending on the length. Can get more with changing tags.

Same on Asura, except more along the lines of 4,400 ._.; just wait until Xarc/beac start they're too much of pussies to go there and the exp is nice if you can pick 1-2 mobs off at a time and can solo them...

Was easy solo the Shadowwing Minions, Shadowhorn Minions and Shadowfang minions on PLD/DNC or PLD/RDM... Shadowwing almost require /DNC cause the AoE spam x.x

BLU maybe but I don't share it to have experience. You should be able to get to at least 1500AN/battle on sam/dnc, just have to remember to turn it in fairly often.

DRK/SAM spamming meditate and Absorb-TP can WS like crazy. I can get two WS off while Dread Spikes is active and three if I start with 100+ TP.

BLU/NIN and BLU/WHM do quite well too.

Gergall, I wondered that myself, but it's sort of a moot point for me since I have movement items for all my jobs already. Though it would be nice for other jobs leveling that aren't 75 and have access to that gear.

Easy? Please tell us how and what jobs? Seriously I can pull 3k/hr pretty easily with ops but 5k/hr doesn't seem plausible unless you're left alone on an enemy wave for the whole hr.

Grab a single (or a pack) of mobs (I always picked on quads because they lasted so long) and solo the shit out of them, or duo with a friend that isn't spamming a kraken. Self-heal and regenerate MP with dances and whatnot, and presto.

If things have changed a lot since I've been gone, then disavow this, but its SE - I can't see them turning Campaign flip upside down.

I had about 137k notes before I quit, because back then there was nothing to spend it on, and I hated HNMing, and was capped on merits, and ballista was dead so I literally had nothing to do outside of helping someone else but to campaign all day.

This is still a great way to get notes. Your goal is to hit these 3 big goals as hard as you can:
Dealing damage
Taking damage (but not dying)
Healing

Melee/DNC excels at all 3. You don't want to blink tank. PLD/DNC doesn't push out as much damage, but gets bonus points for buffs (reprisal etc) and debuffs (flash).
