So, remind me again why the devs said at vanafest they feel these WS are "too powerful" to be used outside of campaign?
It sounds like I just dodged a 100,000 AN bullet.

edit:
Maybe we are doing something wrong or maybe there is an issue with SE's coding. It could be that the more you use it the stronger it gets. If anyone has access to the WS latent program, couldn't they check to see if the Campaign weapons have a counter on them? If i remember correctly, weapons that didn't require WS's to break didn't have any type of counter, but Trial, Nyzul, KSNM weapons did have one.

Appears to be utterly random, not sure if it can crit or what. it doesnt appear HP based, first SS was full HP and second was as you see. "Too powerful" to me seems the amount of hate the weapon skill generates at least for Uriel Blade and I don't have enough AN to get the bastok one.
I usually have filters but does Kayeel-Payeel's version of the staff ws deal damage?
Trying to figure out what to do for "Frozen Flame" Campaign Ops.
Zone data comes to the rescue again.
I don't see any enemies, items, or key items called "Frost Bomb" though. So I'm still pretty stumped. The Frost Bomb uses Hypothermal Combustion.
→The Fortification takes ≺Numeric Parameter 0≻ ≺Singular/Plural Choice (Parameter 0)≻[point/points] of damage.
Probably drops from the Snolls as long as they don't self-destruct?
Dodged a 50k AN bullet on that Regain backpiece. Its Campaign Only SE, I have a 15% crit rate and 10% crit damage bonus weapon with the same requirement. why'd you have to make it suck shit?
And what good is doing a 20 damage light SC to ten mobs at once besides looking cool?
Would it be possible to find out if "Frost Bomb" is in the data of the nations or maybe the keep if you haven't checked there? The only Snolls that are there are the Icefall and I"m pretty sure there are no other snoll like mobs in the area. Only thing I can think is maybe you trade a snoll arm to the ??? used for Prying Eyes II the one where you have to drop down from the garguille area to get to.
That's the only thing I can think of because Prying Eyes II ask to find not only their defensive aspects but also their offensive tools.
Lol as for Uriel Blade, I wonder how much damge it would do on the shadowvoid's elementals.
SE has always had this strange fetish that magical WS are 'overpowered' in that they can't miss, because they've never heard of accuracy gear or something, even while they all do sub-100 damage at times...
So there's basically no good point to caring about any Campaign rank above what's required to do the Stronghold Ops is what I'm taking away from all this.
Don't physical weapon skills get an insane accuracy bonus anyway? Like first hit is pretty much auto-capped or something.
Anyway, I'm thinking they said the weapon skills were "too powerful" because of how strong the NPCs are, then somewhere down the line realized that players having weapon skills that strong would be stupid even campaign-only and nerfed the hell out of them. Since it's SE, they don't bother explaining anything even at the best of times.
Talking about the Frost Bombs..
I saw a Japanese player in Beauc. (S) earlier doing Frozen Flames just before the tally. They kept bringing a Frost Bomb over to the Fort (Was doing Slaught. IV) and cast Dia on it... Which then made it use Hypothermal Combustion. They did it a couple of times, making me think they were getting exp doing it, but I asked them about it and got no response.
I see. Frozen Flame has to be done in Xarc or Glacier, not Zvahl. Now just to figure out how to get a Frost Bomb.
Did Hazardous Materials [S] for XarcS, after getting it I talked to gate sentry and had to run from there to Fort while silenced, grav'd, and under amnesia(echoes didnt work and i had no oil/powders). Luckily i made it w/o dying.
Got 452 xp and 1175 AN for 1 star.
(I didnt see this Op on the wiki so i assume this is a new Op)
Wonder if the update today will fix the weapons?
I'm pretty sure when I read something for the Frozen Flame (W) (not in game now, so can't double check), it said something about commandeering the enemy's vehicle, which I thought was very... weird, to say the least, but never signed up to check due to time constraints.
Edit: Nvm, it said commandeering "prototype weapon".
For the Kinslayer: Baileys and Keep, you have to kill a Shadowguard Demon. For Baileys, there's 2 of them right at the zoneline to the Keep. Not that hard of a fight; BLU can near solo, but you're better off duoing. Only one has to die, don't need both dead. 723 Exp and 1809 Notes for just a 1 star Op.
Has anyone else noticed that the Fortification and Resources levels for the Throne Room have been constantly increasing since the update? The thing is Campaign Battles cannot take place in the Throne Room since it's just a BC. So I don't see what those stats indicate.

I had noticed that and wondered the exact same thingIt's up to 459 Forts and 618 resources on Bahamut now
