For others weapons, you died you don't get credit while mobs/ NM is killed.
I think your JP leader want to play safe.
If I were you, I would play safe too consider that 72hrs cold down timer fir Dynamis.

We are in the process of upgrading the final stage of Horn *TRIAL*. One of my linkshellmates has dagger trial too, so it works out pretty conveniently the both of us have to kill the same NM.

Long story, so I'll cut to the chase:
Killed Quiebitiel.
Both of us have trials activated.
Both of us had the item equipped at time of death.
Both of us were alive (tho I'm told it doesn't matter).
Both of us were in the party with the death blow (again, not that it matters).
Both of us were in 'exp' range.
He gets credit, I do not.

So first of all....WTF? Anyone seen/heard anything like this? Any other relic BRD's working on horn yet?

Second: I'm getting barraged by "Call a GM!" response. Experience tells me GM's will probably be unwilling/unable to assist me. Anyone have experience to add to this? Is it really worth my time?

110% sure, I only had horn on me at the time, and nothing else that could be equipped in the ammo/ranged slot. I have no macros that unequip, I actually pulled the NM with elegy (so i know it was on), and it was on after it was dead.

I'd say this is the same thing that happened to my mythic trial when they first came out, I was unable to register any ws's towards the trial and SE later fixed it, however seeing the pic last page with the level 90 horn says it can't be glitched like mine was.

So i dunno.

That horn is 85, so it could be glitched like your gun was.

Yeah, that pic was me - At the time I was the only person that had the 85 horn on gw and ffxiah. Anyone know Dierdren on Cerberus? He just recently popped up on ffxiah as owning it so I was hoping he had a chance to do a Quiebitiel run yet.

Also - I did manage to talk to a GM last night, but I got the usual scripted response ("working as intended", referred to website, etc).

Fiendishone I vaguely remember that issue, was any kills you earned retroactively applied after the fix?
