I might be doing it wrong, but it looks like it's within the standard error. Potentially, measurement error from missed counts could be a factor as well. (Could have missed 3 in the first run and 8 in the second for example.) Depending on the methodology, errors could be random or systematic (one direction.)
I think 10% is a good call.
I think it was Fievel, who said it best
They'll give an extra DMG+10 and call it a day
Retool Mythic aftermaths (I liked Jimbob's idea), fix the shitty aftermaths on the relics, and grant aftermath after any WS rather than just the specific relic/mythic/Empyrean WS.
I think that'd do a pretty good job of evening things out, especially if another set of skill-based WS were released on the way to 99, with certain weapon types getting good weapon skills to compensate for the lack-luster WS options that are faced today.
I'd like to see them modernize most Relic WS and Relic WS aftermaths. Shock Spikes on Gungnir? Come on. How about the aftermath for Gungnir being that it gives you an additional effect: Damage proportionate to Wyvern's HP. It would be exactly like Excalibur's except it could be an 'enthunder' animation(but deal non ele damage like Excali's enlight) and would deal 1/4 of the wyvern's HP.
Seems that's the way it's going. Watched an Ochain PLD try and solo hold Tiamat yesterday. It was hitting him for between 20 and 40 dmg on the ground and thought he was gonna hold it forever but as soon as it took to the air it was pretty much game over, by the 2nd flight he was out of MP and going down.
That just sounds like the PLD being unprepared, with shell IV they can cap -MDT pretty easily aegis or no. Aegis would obviously make it easier and let you supplement other slots with useful stuff (mdb/refresh) but I can't imagine him hitting a lvl 90 that hard with just capped -MDT.
Out of curiosity what was the PLD subbing?
Speaking of which, I wonder if they'll review the offhand nerf for relics/mythics. I could understand aftermaths not working since everything else WS related doesn't work from offhand but I'd like to see additional effects proc if you offhand the weapon at least.
Well for relics I can understand not working in the off hand since you cant use relic ws in the main hand(unless you have that 1/13 WS weapon), but if i was doing almace /tizona and felt the need to get OAT would be nice to use expiacion and still getting aftermath without having to swap swords around.
That being said I am sure the logic is that if you had access to both from both weapons 1handers would have an unfair advantage over 2 handers.
Hate square logic I really do.
I just want damage>MP to proc offhandRelic 2-3x damage/Excal enlight procs could also work, Vajra's SATA enhancement, etc
Would be really dumb if that was their logic![]()
Seems a lot more like the realm of Mythics, as they already have OAT as part of the generic 300TP aftermath. Relic aftermaths are the only really unique ones; it'd be a shame to make it generic along with the mythics/empyreans. That being said, many of them are unique to the point of uselessness, and could use reinvention.
Since they've introduced OAx Ranged weapons should really do OAT on mythic ranged instead of ODD.
