Oh really? Possible huge disappointment here. DMG+7 to bravura (D106 Delay 488 total) is still fucking awesome but I was really hoping for TP bonus or "Metatron Torment: TP -> chance to crit" change or something.

I could be wrong with my numbers, since theres maint on my server, I'll double check my above claims when I can (or someone else can follow suit with another relic).

I'm voting on #4. If any answer but #4 the fully upgraded blank weapons will still rival a fully upgraded relic w/ augment.

I haven't looked at most of the upgradeable weapons, but at least for gun / bow / h2h, the final version doesn't look comparable to a t2 relic. (Bow / gun sorta cheat tho since the WS is win.)

Have to admit, that makes me want to jump on getting mine through T2 though.

I haven't looked at Gaxe but the Polearm final is like D92 or 93 delay 480 STR4 ATT15 which is no gungnir but it's a ryunohige if you take away the aftermath bonuses and the katanas had something like D36 Delay 220 occ. attack twice or something similar which is arguably better than anything you can put on kikoku (depending on what you're doing / proc rate)

If you have to kill 8000 mobs and get 70 xp each, you have 56 merits worth of xp. This isn't even a full jobs worth of merits.

If someone is that concerned with getting the maximum on the up stroke and down stroke, they should take another job to 75 first imo.

Moreover, 56 merits is basically one long weekend of xp or a leisurely 2 weekends. It's just not that big a deal.

True, true; I'm really just vouching for more merits since they'd been capped for nearly half a decade.

Unless it jumps far up, atm theres nothing after Tier 2 upgrade, presuming I'm understanding what you've said the past couple posts.

I'm sorely disappointed though...thats a LOT of work to up my mandau from D39 to D41.

Like someone else said earlier, that some relics get less of an upgrade because they are already way ahead of the 2nd best weapon so they don't need much improvement but some other ones have to compete with something like Hagun so they are getting a bigger upgrade to compensate and make them pull farther ahead.

Also daggers get more out of +1 damage then a 2hander does.
