For Apoc I was doing Gustav at the split point between where Doom Mages stop and Doom Warlocks start, it's like some steps between two rooms. Repops didn't honestly seem that bad, it was rare that I couldn't find a mob purely because of how many they were. Still slow as hell though, got to 1240 after just short of 3 hours before deciding fuck this shit for today, work in the morn.

Has anyone successfully gotten a damage boost yet, on a weapon in which it would change the weapon rank? Honestly I don't know which (if any) weapons this possibility applies to, but it is something of interest (especially since it would likely affect the new magian weapons the same way).
--Amano could possibly get a rank up once it has +2 damage

Side note...doesn't really apply to relics, but has anyone tested getting points under level sync?

Wayyy too many ppl have relics for this to be longer than other update threads.

I felt like it was apparent there wouldn't be any more relic upgrades this update, as it would not let you see past the 2nd trial. But I feel fairly confident that there will be more coming. SE said that this would be "like the hardest quest ever done." That led me to worry that it'd be like doing a relic/mythic quest all over again (please not that). But I hardly consider 3k WS's/KillingBlows to be "the hardest quest I've done." In fact, I hardly consider it a problem at all, considering the raw, permanent increases and how much it took to get a relic in the first place.. and the fact that even pre-upgrade there's still nothing that rivals relics.

Have you guys seen how long it will take to upgrade the Magian Weapons in comparison? Not terrible by any means but no walk in the park. Funny, the bigger increase for me will (probably, I hope) be getting the Athame 'occasionally attacks twice' offhand dagger, and it'll also require more effort.

I think there will be at least one more upgrade at some point in the future, but who knows. Mmm, more likely than that actually, they'll probably add more trials with every update to balance with the level cap increases and new weapons.

I'm confused, why did anyone ever think a 3rd quest was even a possibility at this point in time? For all the other weapons you can browse 6 quests in advanced, if there were a 3rd quest, you'd see it at the start.

+2 base damage, of course. Dagger still gettin' the shaft again.

Just tell yourself they're keeping the base damage low so it can "Occasionally attack 2-4 times."

By the way, what kind of crazy quests do you guys foresee for the later updates? I'm thinking something along the lines of 10 of each of the new Ex HNM drops.

Honestly while it's annoying, it's not like this is really that awful. Can zone out watching TV or even reading and bang a bunch out at a time.

To get relic upgrades without having to get an HQ4 secret desynthesis item out of Gurfurlur's Chestplate was surprising to me given SE's track history.

While it is a fuckload of WS's and I still have 1300 to go for just the first stage. I'd rather have this that I can do solo than have to go through the 6 hoops you have to for normal Magian weapons with a party at the least for some of the shit. That said, I still expect a backlash on the 3rd upgrade for relics. It's just so unlike them not to pull a Mythic quest on this.

Solo garlaige basement has been thebest so far.

You apocalypse peeps should try The Eldieme Necropolis(S). There are a ton of bones down there, levels 67-69, which respawn in 5 minutes. A friend and myself duo'd them with mnk and blu for exp for awhile, 5 minute respawn is pretty nice.

Amano is certainly small enough to be dual-wielded, so I wholly support the notion of offhanding Soboro >.<

I only got 101/1500 before I needed to crash for the night, at least I recapped my EXP and levelled my NPC to 65 >.>;

Ugh this quest sucks. I'll prolly have gone insane by the time I'm done lol. So far about 1285 left to go after 3+hrs of Lab of Onzozo. Trying to figure out if theres a better mob to solo than Toramas that won't be over run with other people ~.~ Oh and over 10 stacks of regular cheap bullets to get this far >< Need to try convince someone to lend me a KC or Merc Kris...
