What challenge do you want? Kill stuff to get drops, we already have that, it's called all the rest of the gear in the game.

This is a time consuming quest, yes, but it can be done at your leisure. Fast or slow. The best weapons require HNM drops which adds to the challenge.

The most important thing is that people have been begging for a system like this for a long time. Something that requires effort, and in most cases individual effort, but it's dependent on money or an insane amount of items.

This is a mini-relic quest, some people just can't wrap their heads around that fact and just want SE to send all the best gear in the game to their mailbox.

That said, if you haven't figured out SE's philosophy for this game by this point then you are either unobservant or the most amazing masochist in the world.

Most northern open area of the map in Fort K has some flies and rafflesia, dunno really how good a mob those are to get points on, the few that linked me on flies were annoying, so I moved my fly camp elsewhere. If you know a good spot for the first trial, let me know, the flies in Meriphaud [S] repop too slow. Same for CN camps.

I'm still leaning towards mandies myself, assuming I don't kill one before I get to WS, last time I was there it was with Black Ardagas. Mandies don't counter much or did I just forget how much they do? Been ages since I was in Boyahda.

Yeah that ^ lol. Got it down obscenely fast in MZ with that setup, just keep footwork up with DA roll and /war. You'll find yourself solo'ing light very often.

Do you mind testing if your Damage +2 gave you another fSTR?

FLOOR((D23+3)/9) +8 = 10
FLOOR((D23+2+3)/9 + 8 = 11, but not if your augmented +2 doesn't count towards fSTR.

So with the final tier of H2H damage (D71 total) you'd be looking for a max crit of:
(25+11+32+3)*3.15 = 223 damage

If it doesn't work, your max crit would be 220.

Have they made any statements or comments on that issue? That's a pretty messed up bug, if it is a bug, and if it's not, then SE is doing goblin drink all over again.

I haven't heard nor read anything commented on SE's part as of yet, other then the SGM saying that they'll let the developers know about the issue.

Who knows how long that it's gonna take for them to even look into it let alone fix it.

I was TOLD by GM and SE employee that it was implemented AND it also SHOULD had been since you were able to make all the other craftable ebon armour recipies....

But alas a few months later on the next update that came THEN you were able to synth Amphiteather Hides with Distilled Water into Leather.

So the recipie WAS NOT implemented when even GMs and SE Employes said it was on the earlier update.

So yeah I guess all im saying - unless they are gonna make a quick fix, expect to be stuck until next update ;; which is June...

I'm sure they have a 38 hour server maintenance and a 2 meg download so the 3 people that have them, can finally do their magian quest, sometime in May.

If it hasn't been posted already there is currently no third stage for relics, I just finished my first stage after 13hrs15mins and 1293 WSs in Gustav Tunnel (so help me if a higher stage of apoc is undead I'm quitting the game), second stage is WS Killshot on AQUANS (for you Wulf/other drks if you haven't checked it) so it'll be better and worse all at the same time!

Nope, the distribution of crit when pdif is capped on very low level mob is not evenly distributed and tends to take almost only high values. For example take your destroyer and go punch wild rabbits you'll see 198 often.
