The Subtle blow Metsu gives isn´t doing as much as people might like you to think. More of an excuse of Relic NINs to get to use Fancypants WS. Nin hits so fast and often - Subtle Blow is a little bandaid to lessen the pain but not a fix.

Short answer is not much. Full usukane with a WHM in party it adds 0 since you're at cap anyways. Without WHM and full DD gear it adds 10 maximum I believe. I no longer have my flimsy data from years ago that I used to make those conclusions, but I can't say with 100% certainty that they're accurate.

Though the way NIN is set up it's far from optimal and extremely expensive compared to just stacking DW & Haste. Oh man I can't wait to see how dirty NIN will be if/when they get DWV natively.

No it doesn't and no it can't - in comparison to anything you can actually hit with your katanas. Unless your gear just sucks beyond belief or you're fighting something with innate melee damage resistance.

Finished second Gungnir trial last Friday night/Saturday morning. I never want to see another lizard or raptor again. Spent way too much time. As a consolation prize between both trials I managed to get 62 merits between myself and my pocket BRD, ~120 KS, ~120 BS, and ~700k in gil drops, NPCables, and AHables.
