That may stink because what if you sync or are capped under level 80(say, level 75 cap stuff), your relic may essentially become a normal weapon with none of the extra stats.

Of course SE "may" be smart enough to make it so it scales down properly when you sync or are capped to 75.

The only reason you'd sync to 75 is for XP/merits. At that point, having a merely powerful but not special weapon is annoying but not devastating. If you're someone who relies on their aftermath (I'd assume mostly Samurai for an X-hit build with Amanomurakumo), keeping an alternate weapon around might be a good idea. But I highly doubt we'll be syncing down to 75 to fight Dynamis Lord or Proto-Omega or something actually relevant.

no sir. unless they fixed it. relics were nothing more then a paper weight when under the level listed on said weapon. i dont think they have any intentions of making them function like that. cuz man kaiten @ 60 would have raped face in a few camps & capped lolballista.
