I think we all understand that special properties of relics/mythics do not work in off-hand. It's a question of curiosity.
Finished with the third Gungnir trial; just looking for a good place to grind out 2000 vermin kills. I considered Biddybugs in Jugner [S], but they die too fast for me to consistently get 100% TP and WS. Monarch Ogreflies in Chasm would nice nice if there were more than 3-4 in any given grouping. The SW corner with Tulwar Scorpions and flies would be decent if it weren't for Sargas. Anyone have any suggestions for a vermin killing rampage at 80?
Multi Base proc does not apply to the offhand, but the ATT on the weapon still applies.
If you offhanded a base Mandau, you would have a 39 DMG, 176 Delay, and 20 ATT weapon. I can pop up a screenshot of Mandau/Blau and Blau/Mandau giving the same attack if needed.
I used Mandau offhand while messing with Glory Slash a while back for the additional non-conditional ATT.
Glory Slash Tests
That may very well be true depending on the enemy being fought and the circumstance under which the fight was taking place (just one of the many weapons I'd love to try out too). I just wanted to squash something posted earlier about ATT not showing up when a relic is offhanded.Would be better to maybe offhand Kila with def down 15%? ( Cuz most likely on new one with def down 15 means 15% )
Huh, I could have sworn the attack was also removed for the offhand. My bad.
The Sargus corner is actually working pretty well for my trial. I'm maintaining ~60 killshots/hour solo on DRG/WHM. Without food or Dia II the Tulwar Scorpions and Monarch Ogreflies have just enough HP for me to get to 100% and WS.
I really don't get how you can be killing biddybugs before you get to 100%, I was did them for Amano's 2nd trial, using kaiten to killshot from 40% and never had an issue with killing them before I could WS, even with several 2.5 procs in a row. This is by also by far the best camp with a group of 6 and another with 5 close to eachother, they have low hp and rarely get off a tp move.
First off, you get access to 'other means of TP aquisition' he has to melee almost exclusively. Not saying I disagree, cause for me it was really hard to accidentally kill ANYTHING EP at 75+ strictly meleeing. Either way, it's not hard to choke back on gear if you're hitting too hard.
You could also try Kuftal Tunnel for vermin. I did my 2nd amano trial there on the spiders and it worked really well.
Could also kill sheep in mire, whack sheep for TP and WS on Chigoes. It's how I did my GK vermin. Didn't even need meditate for the most part.
Piercing Bonus and a wyvern tend to make them die faster. Not to mention you did your trial with a D90 weapon and I'm using a D109 weapon. There's only so much I can do to cut back with those factors giving such a large damage boost.
I'm avoiding dungeon areas if at all possible due to high respawn timers. Helm Beetle camp only has 7 pops anyway and that's a decently camped spot for Soulsaber trial 190. Attohwa Chasm is treating me well with 60 killshots/hour and no competition or waiting for repops. The worst I have to worry about is the occasional Death Scissors for a piddly 250 or accidentally aggoing Sargas (has yet to happen).
There's like 40 spider spawns in Kuftal though, even w/a 16 min repop I think you might be ok on having enough mobs.
Spiders also use Slowga. That's why my comment was a joke.
Actually they fixed that, so long as you have haste on, it blocks that slow, but haste does not overwrite it if you do get hit with it.
For clarity:
If you have haste you cannot be slowed(anymore),
If you get slowed, you cannot overwrite that slow with haste; you'll need to erase it.
