Woo~ after struggling out at Cape Teriggan beach by myself for 2 days, I found out about crabs/pugs at Vunkerl. Teamed up with 7 or 8 different Amanos over the course of 8 hours and got 1530 objectives done today to finish. Was actually kind of fun making it rain Kaitens with others, definitely a lot more leisurely.
Messed around with it for like 2 minutes before seeking for abyssea, and found out that SpellCast crashes windower with it equipped. Also the aftermath duration is still unchanged, and from what I could tell, no additional Store TP is granted. Probably safe to bet proc rates on 2.5x damage and Attack Down (and its effect) are the same, but I can't comment. Oh well, +10D and +5acc is well worth the relatively small amount of effort for this trial.
Edit: Oh, and I confirmed that you still get Kaiten while sync'ed at 75. And I never noticed unexpected spike damage like some have mentioned earlier.
Grats Peace. Also just finished last night.

I was doing 100/hr duo with npc brd, and probably 130/hr when i teamed up with another amano. Also frogs in abyssea count as Aquans, which is where i got my 1st 500 while leveling.

Just finished myself. I'll test if any of the effects have changed, but based on the previous upgrade and the 2 Amanos, probably no hidden changes~
Gratz super Jealous!!! Soooo hard for me to focus on boring EP kills. But now i'm way behind.
I've been away from the game for awhile, did they ever allow augmenting of Aegis yet? I can't seem to find anything though it's been so long idk where to look haha.
I did my Plantoid Kills in Bhaflau Thickets @ I-7. There are 9 Saplings and have 5min repop.
I did Rafflesia in Fort just as you port in , fantastic.
^
Don't be put off by amnesia, it only lasts a few seconds. You'll not find more mobs closer together and they are at the very limit of EP without ever popping too weak.
There is a camp at the warp in spot, which stretches around to the NW.
Funguars in Grauberg. Looking at it from the tower you basically have 3 camps: 1 closest to tower, the high camp, no bones at night, the long path in the middle, lots of bones (I usually pushed ninja's to this camp) and the huge ass lower camp, no bones at night. I usually spend the day at the lower camp, since most people won't go that far to fuck up my killing spree.
Thanks for the info! What was all your kill speeds like on these?

I spy a whitebox kabuto. Haven't had much of a chance to read up on any info to upgrade AF3. Hard to get done or relatively easy?
Seconding rafflesia camp in fort karugo. I can usually do about 8-10 kills every 5 min with a BRD alt on follow. They are usually all clustered together, so no long walks. I'd be wary of doing this camp when its earthsday/darksday due to sword trials. No idea why, but JPs on my server love killing these things on darksday, and it's a pain in the ass to bother asking them to let you get killshot.
Went to test some basics on Catastrophe. Like others reported, no gain in AM duration. Damage Calculation is a little difficult because alpha modifiers were probably changed, and DRK now has a Critical Attack+ trait. But it's doing ~300 damage more than when I tested the Lv80 version of the Scythe. (Used SA Cata for reduced variation in damage) +13 DMG, increase in stats, and crit+ seem to account for the damage boost. AM is still 10% Haste~
As for Liberator, it's gotten some huge boosts between the the last 2 updates, and I feel it's damage potential is incredible. Not to mention they seemed to have skipped over enhance Absorb Lv II and shot directly to III. I have plans to complete the augments, but they'll happen at a slow rate :/. I feel pretti bad for having the Scythe, and not making good progress on the trials.
Shouldn't be too bad overall then I suppose, been dreading doing these. I always have a whm and a brd with me so always have march/haste. Thanks again for all the info everyone!
Well this trial was actually somewhat fun, compared to how it used to be.

At one point yesterday we even had 4 Spharai running through a pretty quiet Ro'Meave, pity I had to leave an hour or 2 after the 4th joined.
Yay junk NM (which didn't even put out, twice):

Now to get 85 so I can actually turn it in at the moogle >.>
