Wondering if anyone had done their trials in Abyssea and if they managed to sustain their time doing it.

I tried out puks in Abyssea - La Theine, since all the camps outside are horrid and overrun. With WAR + RDM (dualled) it is as easy to kill them there as in wajoum etc, I used Razed Ruin and Voracious Violet. Lights could be an issue but assuming the Ephemeral are up around the camp I can cap before I start in 10mins, now if only there were shouts for La Theine exp still I could get time and lights done for me first/during.

Started the first relic trial 2 days before cap was raised to 85, FINALLY just finished(inb4 ABOUT TIME FAGGOT) but yeah with a crazy work schedule and friends wanting to do abyssea stuff it's taken me forever. But it's finally done! yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy

I had a proper try of this the other week, ended up in there for 9hours. I was paranoid about watering down lights so I just kept opening each ruby chest for ebon to keep some azure up. Time was inconsistent but always arrived in the end.

Found out where to camp to do my amorphs, turns out the Cave Worms in Kuftal are not Too Weak at 85 like I figured they were. So gonna get back to work on amorphs there, then stay there for Aquans on Robber crabs... locking myself in Kuftal until Guttler is finished upgrading. (with breaks for salvage and abyssea)

Any special tips on 2k birds? I'm doing pretty well at the leypoint, 60/hr, so much better than dancing fking weapons. Just wondering if an abyssea pt centered around it would be faster, if anyone's had experience with that. 1262 to go.

did single bats in abyssea tahrongi for bird trial with two other apocs and brd rdm whm mule, leechers pulled and capped lights for us. was pretty fast and i certainly wont do beast trial (or any following trial next update) outside of abyssea.

Yeah we are capping about 115/hr on beast outside abyssea, definitely need to find a good camp inside.

Rabbits in abyssea-misareaux. They don't aggro/link and nobody kills them usually, I did nearly 200 in an hour for my taipan trial.

So, honest question, not trying to start a debate I just haven't been keeping up on FFXI info since like may, but are fully trial'd relics still on top or have they been surpassed by the empyrons / magians like was hypothesized?

The vast majority currenty lose to Empyreans. All the Empyreans that provide a superior WS to what is otherwise available (e.g. H2H, katana, GAxe, GK, etc.) are better by an absurd margin.
