Do those numbers include Verethragna's aftermath? I'd assume they do, but iirc that post was before the proc rate on Vereth was reported... Just curious for the sake of accuracy, Spharai would still be the superior weapon overall.

Worms are not vermin because the animals people refer to as worms belong to several phylums in the super phylum Lophotrochozoa while the animals that most people (inaccurately unless they are specifically talking about Hemiptera ) refer to as "bugs" are in the phylum Arthropoda.
Look up Lophotrochozoa. It really can't be honestly argued that they belong in the vermin family and not the amorph family.
^ I did, always thought worms were just bugs (since a lot of bugs have worm-like forms too, like caterpillars > butterflies) but yeah, no, Amorph is bang on. I was actually arguing that they could belong to both but again, no.
Just stop, please for the love of all, stop.
I thought the term for that was Malacite?

In FFXI the "Vermin" family very obviously means "invertebrate with a chitinous shell and segmented body" i.e. arthropods, though if they ever add any water bear or velvet worm mobs they'll have to be grouped into the vermin family as that is the closest thing to those animals in FFXI even though they aren't arthropods.
Wot? Arguing about family/class of animal in a relic thread? Only on BG.
Biology is fun :3
Lv80 GK, still holding onto the dream.
Where am I going for Aquans besides Kuftal tunnel and any abyssea PT's vs Frogs I can start up? I remember hearing Vunkerl Inlet [S]?
Crabs and Pugils as far as the eye can see right by the Campaign area.
Yeah both sound good lol. Ty guys.
Hey, question for those Apoc users who did their trials in Abyssea (or anyone for that matter..)
I have a RDM mule (and on lucky days, a friend on BRD who actually likes helping out with these) -- we normally hit the Leypoint for trial #4 and average about 70 an hour, though it's sometimes impeded by exp parties, and other people doing trials.
Do you think I'd be able to average a bit higher in Abyssea, even with just these 3? Trying to at least finish Trial #4 before the update.
Doing the trials in Aby zones is going to give greatest rewards if there are a few on the same trial, but even solo you should be able to convince a few people to come out on whm cor or brd subs to buff you at least. Personally I'd take a hit to the mob per hour just to get more Gil/KI's/Merits.
Most of the time I was killing I had someone working on Kannagi killing KI Nms/bria and building amber. Help each other out on time, lots of gold chests. I just hope my next trial can be done in Attowha or Tahrongi.
If that doesn't swing it you can justify screwing up ws kills as "working on pearl".
