Count Bifrons was a complete joke btw. We were a bit scared of him possibly spamming sleepga 2, plus it spawns you like RIGHT THE FUCK IN FRONT OF HIM so we all crapped out collective pants at the start. Set up was WHM BRD SAM SAM MNK MNK didn't even need our 2 hours except for soul voice. BRD did SV 2x minuet and we just zerged the count.

BRD used horde and slept all the Orcs np while we beat down Count Bifrons in about 10 seconds flat >_>. Recommend Poison Pots to avoid sleep and /DNC for sneak/invis and healing waltz (the asshole will use bindga) otherwise yeah he honestly wasn't a threat fight was a total joke got all worked up for nothing.


Not looking forward to climbing up to the Throne Room though, I'm sure it must be hell. Hell half our group died a few times just trying to dodge all the TS aggro that's right outside the Castle. Seriously SE WTF, lay off the UFO Dragons and Taurs >_>

Sure it's epic from a thematic standpoint but from a gameplay perspective it's just aggravating. Hell before we called it a night 1 person got reamed by a UFO while resting at the C.A. in Xarc. Just a tad harsh SE?

If anyone on Ramuh wants to do some of the last added city quest fights and then these new missions, let me know 2/6. Shit sucks when no one is interested and you cant access it.

You only have to pass two True Sight mobs on the way the Throne Room. One Imp in the Zvahl Keep before the 1st teleporter, and there is a pair of taurus in the room right by the exit to the Throne Room, however since you come in from the side you should only have to deal with one. It's fairly simple because you can just sleep the imp and teleport to lose aggro, then for the taurus you can just sleep and zone it. Honestly opening all the doors in the Keep is far more annoying than the True Sight.

Oh, and I don't know if anyone has posted this yet, but Lilisette's Trance is amazing. It gives Mighty Strikes + Invincible + Spell Immunity (as in nukes get the "xxx resisted the spell"), and might even give her a degree of haste.

She can use it more than once per battle, if she stays alive long enough at low HP.

Ragelise commences Operation Sandstorm, which I assume is actually the Battle at Xarcabard. Introduces the Hydra Corps as well to fight in this battle.

Allied Forces arrive at Xarcabard and make plans for a siege of Castle Zvahl by staging a tactic that forces all beastmen forces back to the castle, then creating a diversion in Xarcabard while sending strike forces into Zvahl to defeat the Beastmen.

Meanwhile Cait Sith goes off to talk to Atomos, asking if he can reverse what he had set forth in motion. He cannot. Atomos will act accordingly.

Also somewhere along the line you realise that our future is slowly being devoured by Atomos.

Lilith appears before Shadow Lord and forms a truce with them, sharing information about the 'history' of Vana'diel, as well as lending her forces to fight the battle.

Shadow Lord and his forces empty out Zvahl and he himself appears at Xarcabard and decimates the Allied Forces.

Ragelise joins the strikeforce (instead of heading his own regiment) to try to rescue Portia who has been discovered to be within Zvahl.

They witness the appearance of a magical power appearing in the sky above. Ragelise is determined to find out what that is, and presumes that it is what causes the enemies to have such a strong foothold compared to the allies.

They manage to rescue Portia but the Allied campaign ends in failure. Ragelise is dismissed from his post and shamed by all Allied forces.

Lilisette says that everything is going according to plan. Also explains a bit of how Robel Akbel failed her and his backstory.

Ragelise and Portia head over to Zvahl / Throne Room to find out about this mysterious power.

Lilisette, Cait Sith and player run off to Zvahl to follow Ragelise.

Ragelise and Portia meet with Lilisette who reveals that she is their daughter and also the source of their power, the Dark Divinity Odin. Because of the rage in Ragelise's (and Portia's) heart, they are suitable candidates to receive Odin's power (or something like that), and so it is done.

Lilisette and team arrive a little too late, just as it happens. Cait Sith explains that Liliths future is in fact the real one that existed, and that the one we live in was sort of conjured by the hopes / dreams of those who longed for a strife-free land, as well as Altana herself.

Lilith gets Haudrale and Aquila to finish Lilisette off, but instead get vanquished by her.

Lilith is disappointed that they had lost, but her plan has already been set forth in motion.
She summons another Spitewarden (dark future version of you).

Lilisette seems overwhelmed by the whole thing, and then Atomos devours her.

Pretty much sums up what happens. Left out the technicalities that provide for BCs, etc.

When Cait Sith speaks to Atomos, he asks him to stop devouring our future based on Altana's wishes. Atomos (or rather the Cavernous Maw in Walk of Echoes, it was never specifically said this was Atomos-- and it speaks of Atomos in the third person so..) states that no avatar nor god can stop him from doing what he was summoned to do. Cait Sith, obviously, is aghast that an avatar would rebel against a God. This is interesting to me because it actually comes out and states that both are avatars, presumably different from celestial/terrestial

Remember Flit from TOAU? He's the Shadow Lord's personal Herald instead of Luzaf's at this time. Considering both Luzaf and Raogrimm are Odin's Knights, I wonder when Flit jumped from Raogrimm -> Luzaf, as Luzaf has been dead for a long time before we arrive, centuries iirc.

Robel-Akbel did "fail" Lilith, and not Lilisette. Lilith and Lilisette are the same person. As in, Lilith is Lilisette from a different future.

It is not the Rage which Odin seeks from Portia and Ragelise, but their love. If I remember right, Lilith goes on a tirade about the emotions the Dark Divinity values most: Rage, rancor, envy and love. Lilith also explains in her timeline, the Shadow Lord rules over the entire world. (Actually I think Cait Sith is the one who does this)

Cait Sith and Lilith also reveal to us that Lilith's world is Universe 1 per se. That is, her world came first, and our's is Altana's idealized version. In Universe 1, Lilith's reality, there are few races of Altana left alive, but they keep fighting against the Beastmen. This is where I get confused, because in Universe 1, Ragelise makes the pact with Odin during the storm of Zvahl, right about when he rescues Portia. (In our reality, Universe 2, this is where he turns down Odin's offer, if I'm remembering my dialogue right.) So that makes the current WOTG timeline a sort of Universe 3? Also, being imbued with Odin's power allows Lilith to control demons too, which is interesting that in her world Odin's armies are fighting each other eternally. (Which makes sense! Look at the Norse concept of Einherjar, lol)

And then Rocl was a demon.

I'm still calling that it shows up under "Common Items" (so that any of the 3 nations can buy it) once you have a Medal of Altana.

Aquila has a mode he can switch into where he absorbs all physical attacks much like the Mammets from CoP, which he can trigger without a TP move. When he does so, Lilisette automatically disengages until the mode wears off. It's completely random how long it lasts, so that's probably what you saw.

Get right out of town, I knew he could do that, but I never paid attention to his HP%, just her's. That's damn smart of the little Dancer.

Well, i died cause we were caught off guard when aquila cast thundaga3 on us while we were chatting, thought it will be on lilisette since she was tanking. Forgot to switch into my -mdt. Other than that, it wasn't close at all. Easy fight, about 16mins~.

Whm ran short of mp at times, he used lieut cape and vile elixir i think.

What do you think Kam'lanaut and Eald'narche were up to? The Shadow Lord is in the way of their goal reaching Sky, and I think it's fairly likely they could just nuke him with their super Zilartian powers if they so chose to, or even call the Crystal Warriors. So, why didn't they in the alternate future?

lilith got her power from odin yes, as "a bond was made, a sacrifice, for the commen good of the ppl. remember, she used to be lilisette, but in the true time of lilith, they failed to stop the shadowlord, both parents died, and the beastmen destroyed everything.

They then went back in time through atomos, in an attempt to rescue her father and mother, who didnt survive the battle of xarcabard and the eventual siege of the beastmen. They had to ensure that Rageliese did in fact survive the battle of Xarcabard, to both see the horrors of the true shadowlord, and to be kicked from the knights, in an attempt to make him want to bond with odin over his love for portia, and his hatred of the shadowlord, hence they bond with odin, and become "Evil." if you want to call it that, in an attempt to gain the power that would be ultimately necessary to kill the shadowlord, and take his place as ruler of vana'diel.
