Anyone have any idea or speculation on who they might be in our world? We've been introduced to the galka now, who the final spitwarden is, and robel was really karaha. But as they were dying, Aquila was talking to Haudraule asking 'who do you think we are in their reality?' has made me wonder. Going mainly on appearance (well, hair really), only ones that have come to mind are Schultz and Halver. Can't really think of anyone that matches personality though, especially Aquila.
    Spoiler: show
I thought Aquila was Bartholomaus in both the player's future (though we never see him) and the WOTG timeline. I'll agree with you on the speculation that Haudrale is Halver. Both Aquila/Bart wear the RDM hats and have similar (yes, its a bit of a stretch) personalities and represent bastok in their 3 timelines.

In Purple, the new Black he addresses himself as the leader of the Cryptscale Prectorate which could be a mirror of Bart's Iron Musketeers. Haudrale I likened to being Halver not only because of the similiarity in names but also the disguise he uses (a mirrored Halver model in hair color) before showing his true self in La Vaule.

Looking at the cutscenes again, in the "original" timeline (the one where neither Lilith or you interfere) who gives Ragelise his curse that forces him into the pact with Odin? In the WOTG timeline it's Aquila right? I assume in the player's timeline whatever happened to him in the Lilith timeline was the same thing.

Tried quoting the pictures of Mayakov, failed. Explains comments below.

Good lord I adore WotG, it's like the expansion for gay people. It's fucking hilarious, not only because of Mayakov being a flaming queen, but all of his fans' wives dragging men off from his shows, Mayakov flirting with Ragelise, Lehko (male mithra, for non-windys) flat out hits on you and gives you roses, tag-team name is "Future Fabulous!" Did I miss anything? Are the sandy and bastok quests super gay too?

well, FFXI is basically doing what every female pop singer is doing right now to stay in demand.. pander to a gay fanbase lol..
Mayakov is hilarious, especially in that scene where he just jumps in on the demon... and Future Fabulous rox.

Yes.. Raogrimm entered into a pact with Odin, as did Lilith.. and also Portia and Ragelise now. The thing that pops up in the sky is apparently from Odin... but this is only because Ragelise says that it feels familiar.

After the battle of Xarca where something absorbs the little pearls from the dead people, I'm beginning to wonder if that is Atomos, Odin or Diabolos.. because there is absolutely no mention of Diabolos there, but he did clearly create the Dynamis in the time of the Battle at Xarcabard, hence the Hydra Corps presence there..

ToAU has Luzaf (not for longer) under Odin's influence. WotG introduced us to another person under Odin's power.
Odin is one classy guy, isn't he?

ToAU and WotG will have their own version of Apocalypse Nigh, as Apoc Nigh was a crossover between RotZ and CoP.

I haven't seen this yet, but from how you described it, it sounds like in other CS where Atomos ate peoples' memories.

i thought this revelation was interesting. it was the first time the story definitively tied the ToAU story arc into the original Crystal War storyline...
    as in,
Zilart was related cos of the younger princes involvement in the war,
CoP is kinda related cos of Zilart and touches on Tavnazia's involvement in the war. At this point they also mention other plot devices like Memoro de la Stono and the dark magicite which ties back to the Dark Divinity...
    WotG goes without saying..

but ToAU had always seemed to be arbitrarily unrelated to anything to do with the Crystal War other than the fact that Aht Urhgan didn't participate in it...
This Odin connection seems to prove otherwise, since Shadow Lord's power was given by Odin (although i think back in the past it was assumed to be Promathia by most) and then theres Flit too..

Well Flit is the messenger between Odin and his contacts out of the underworld.

I uploaded the final two cutscenes from this latest set of missions to youtube. So now you don't have to go all the way back up to the Throne Room [S], or actually do the missions, to see what's going on!

I might work on uploading the rest of the cutscenes if anyone is interested.

I realized I went through the text too fast after I had uploaded it. At least youtube has a pause button so you can stop and read the text.

The way I see it, the elder gods of Vana'diel (Altana, Promathia, and the sleeping gods/elemental avatars) require a vessel in order to do stuff in the terrestrial plane (Promathia and the Keeper of the Apocalypse (I think, never quite understood this), Alexander and the Alzadaal Ruins/his snazzy new biotechnological body, Odin and the Dark Rider, the legends featuring Ifrit & co. as mortals) due to them being celestial beings, so that could very well be the case with Altana and Lilisette.

Odin doesn't seem to need a vessel (Dark Rider is just the name given to him by ToAU NPCs who didn't know he was Odin), but that might be becuase there's a literal hole in the dimensional fabric in Hazhalm that he can travel through.

I'm happy that the "dark divinity is Promathia" theory is finally irrefutably proved wrong.

So when the giant black cross appears in the sky, was that the moment when Odin's protocrystal in Bearclaw Pinnacle shattered and he was released? That's kinda how Lilith made it sound saying he "arrived"

I'm also confused who exactly makes the pact with Odin that leads to the alternate future. She made it sound like everyone, or most everyone in her reality is a descendant of someone aligned with Odin. And I'm just really confused with the limits of Odins influence here. ToA made it sound like he chose one person every few millenia to serve him. Now I guess he can have an entire populous suddenly? And what is the point of doing that even? Having minions of Odin fighting the Shadow Lord and Beastmen. It sounds like Lilith comes from some weird Nietzschean reality that is all about a struggle for "strength of will".

Time travel shit never makes for a coherent plot I swear. Maybe I'm just tired after 2+ years of Wings but I sorta kinda really am not into it.

Well, my theory is that he's using the same body he used versus Alexander 1000 years ago or whenever. (Only Alex's body--now the ruins of Alzadaal--was destroyed; Odin merely fell back to slumber. Or something.)
