Will run a battery of tests tomorrow when I wake up in about 8 hours.
I never want to melee a wamoura prince again.

Heh, working on that myself, still on demons though. Hope it's not a waste of time.
You think they would've lowered the requirements for the damn things and relic/mythics along with the elemental paths.
To follow up on my earlier post:
I made it to the "Wamoura" trial for sword and the smaller ones do indeed work.
Would you be able to pair the OA2-3 Enchu with an OAT Isatu with trial 1511 completed on it. Or does it not allow you to do 2 of the same path if the end result is EX?
You can pair those two as they are not the same weapon.
You can, however only have one Enchu (rare), so you must pick between OAT, OA2-3, or DA+7.
edit: nvm, found a good flan camp
Yes, but they're atrocious to fight anyways. Say you have 4 ppl, and you can kill a wamoura prince in 3 min from pull to kill, 2min might be more reasonable. The trial will take 15-22 hours to complete, And they're extremely slow and annoying to solo, you'll need /sch to dispel since /rdm doesn't always land, and you may need 2 dispels to land to get rid of 60 damage per hit blaze spikes. And you need to have an OAT weapon equipped, so you can take 200 damage from hitting them per attack round
Basically it's the worst possible trial for NIN.
Though I guess it's still better than apkallu.
I took off all gear, left myself as /sch, and melee'd an excevation duty wall for 30 min:
Main hand delay 227 offhand 242.

~25% DA ~20% TA?
kparse clearly doesn't recognize the triple attack properly, I'm thinking I should test again with only Enchu mainhand no offhand, but here's the raw results:

If you need to kill Wamoura, follow the advice i was given in random question thread: go into the Halvung entrance behind pudding camp, and follow the route around through a door, past some trolls. There's about 8 bugs around A-D7, will spawn around DC level at 79-80. With myself, another melee friend, and a dual boxed healer (bring dispel or you will die) we'd clear out the last bug just as they respawned. I did my 200 for H2H here and stayed sane.
I fear doing 400 Wamouras as NIN... I have a feeling it'll be the most unpleasing experience ever, even with a 80RDM along with, perhaps I can get someone from shell to help down them quick D:
For the trials where you need an additional effect to proc <x> number of times, how low is the proc rate exactly? Does the augment "Addition Effect: <x> +5" indicate a roughly 5% proc rate?
Another 30 min of attacking a brittle rock later, I have more results. No DA+ gear on, but wearing my haste gear this time. Enchu oa3x is main hand, with offhand empty:

Raw, if anybody cares:

this is 500 melee rounds, so take it how you will.
50% single attack rate is slightly disappointing when compared to the 30:50:20 spread that soboro/ridill/mkris use, this looks closer to 50:30:20, as a rough estimate. But it's using an A- weapon which will make up for it for any job interested in completing it.
Based on your data (there should be nothing wrong with kparser counting except tard monks like to "test" in laggy Campaigns or Dynamis), the point estimates ("p.hat") and a set 95% (simultaneous) confidence intervals (ci.lower, ci.upper) are
The estimates are consistent with some H2H OA2-3 data I saw earlier (same 50:30:20 shit).Code:p.hat ci.lower ci.upper [1,] 0.5084541 0.4668622 0.5500460 [2,] 0.3115942 0.2730625 0.3501259 [3,] 0.1799517 0.1479928 0.2119106
I'm working on Trial 301 for my Axe and have to kill 200 Apkallu. Seriously, wtf was SE thinking. After about 10 kills, these things become invincible b/c of hate. Is there some kind of trick to this or does SE just forget the stupid fucking gimmicks they implement 4 years ago? Not to mention fire weather is so incredibly rare, I really hope they look into this.
Im going to assume then for now that we have a 50% chance at first strike for the first hit and 2/5 chance at second strike to proc on these OA2-3 weapons for now.
Almost done building my program on TP/m comparison between weapons, adding in multi hit weapons is hard >.<
Actually fuck it I'll just have the program output all my variable values and I can work out the multi hits the old fashioned way with a calculator, if I know hits/min and tp/hit shouldn't be THAT hard to find out how much more tp/m the multi hits are adding
As far as Apkallu hate goes, it seems to be more complex than just # of birds killed.
When I solo Apkallu, I can get up to about 50-55 mobs before they start being totally unmanageable with the running away to link thing they do, with little to no damage resistance. In a group of 4, they were immune to damage before they even started aggroing, about 30 mobs.
Hmm same zone each time? The mount Z ones seemed to resist faster for me and the paggo reef ones would do the run away link friends thing
