I did my vermin at the hidden spot of Vunkerl Inlet [S] that contains 6 dragonflies. If you zone out to Rolanberry there are 6 other dragonflies. The chigoe there don't aggro 75+, so it's a pretty nice spot to do it.

Since you are doing WS trial, keep a lookout for BLUs, PLDs, and NINs doing their attacks 2-3 times weapons on Wamouracampa. Those last longer and can skill you up (Lv79-81) if you have been level syncing a lot.

For these trials you have to have killshot with specific damage though.

So get the killshot? I did it in only a few hours on RDM, significantly faster than if I had been solo. I gave them haste, they gave me killshot, and we all got it done faster.

EP vermin - two words - do Chigoes. Pick anywhere you please, they are the saving grace of vermin trials.

Personally I found the goblin beetle pets in Sauro S to be easier and faster for vermin, just because there's 0 danger and 0 work involved. Sub SCH, use Parsimony every time it's up, Thunder IV, run to other one, repeat. YMMV

Equipment: Teiwaz: 1700 must be equipped.

What are my options here? Based on how "camped" the Yag High Priest is in Meriph. Mt (S) I'm hoping to have some alternatives other than just the SMN Yags in Meriph Mt. (S).

So far possibilities are:
1.) Yag SMN pets (Meriph Mt. S)
2.) Elements (Sky)
3.) Yag pets (West Saru S)
4.) Pixies everywhere
Any other elemental pets to level 80 blm? Thanks

Pixies everywhere should count, they are in the elemental family. Urd/skuld count.

Been a while since I've done Limbus but they don't give XP if I remember so they wouldn't count...

Yag SMN Pets in West Sarutabaruta [S] are EP and can be one shotted by SMN Merit BP 5/5 or BLM (I'd assume SCH too). RDM don't seem capable of one shotting it though. I saw JPs there so I teamed up with them for it.

Does pixie hate even exist? I've never seen any kind of conclusive evidence that killing pixies does anything except make less pixies spawn in that zone. Everything to the contrary has been a case of mobs' universal spell recast timers.

I had read reports that the hate was simply that they stopped curing/raising you. Not like they started aggro'ing you like Fomor.

I haven't killed many Pixies/Sprites but I remember early on in WOTG the Sidhe at the Fay Spring would stop repopping if you killed enough of them. After killing 150 for a Magian trial, I am led to believe that the Sidhe population is related to the number of bottled pixies released much like the pixies in the present.

This would explain why early on they wouldnt repop as no one cared to release pixies pre-magians. It's either that or SE fixed them to repop constantly.
