Im interested in this also bc im working on the axt and i didnt decided yet which path ill go after i killed the 600 undead.
Another question i have is: do the augmented dmg count towards the weapon rank? bc wiki said it doenst and that would mean u will lose alot of dmg potential.

I logged onto his character and tested it (and took the ss as well). Actually he told me the DA works for offhand when he finished it about a month ago...

Nin/Thf no DA equipment (and some slow+ equipment), purely eyeballing:

1.
Main hand - warp cudgel (higher delay than his other katana)
Off hand - Enchu

Both weapons DAed.

2.
Main hand - Enchu
Off hand - warp cudgel

Both weapons DAed.

Not to nit pick but I am going to anyway. The +1 hasn't even been out two whole weeks yet much less the time it takes to get 9k RPs, get G7 done, and get to lvl 85. So he couldn't have had the +1 that long. I have the lvl 80 Enchu and it does not OAT for the other hand.

A reason someone might ask about the DA is that even for virtue weapons people kept thinking wrongly that there were 4 attacks possible (8 for Faith Baghnakhs) per attack round (actually three with some DA %), possibly because they drew their conclusions while under the effect of high attack speed.

Warp Cudgel is good, a level 1 club would be better. If you can post a screenshot of a 4 hit round (2 will be low due to Warp stick's crap damage and NIN's shit club skill, 2 will be high from Enchu) with no other DA gear and /THF, then this argument will be over. 9% DA rate, double-DA should happen about 1% of the time.

Well then, good enough for me. That makes the DA+9 weapons very solid candidates for all the 1H jobs.

Again sorry about that. The DA on the weapons works just like Brutal and stacks with it also. Like I said, thought this was known by now.
