How the hell did he get the 50 Carabosse Gems? I didn't think anyone was even past that stage yet.

I think the more apt question would be how in the hell did they get 50 Cirein-croin's lanterns. Something seems very fishy about this whole thing.

Masamune would be one of the easiest Empyreans to finish. Carabosse takes two key items to pop, even if you didn't get them from exp all the time, it's not too hard to low man both Baba Yaga and La Theine Liege.

Cirein-croin also requires only two pop items. Orobon Liver drops very frequently off gold chests, since the number of key items that can drop at all seems to be limited in the Scars zones, and the Frog just sits up all the time on my server. Never fought the lesser Orobon, but the frog can be duo'ed by a mnk and rdm pretty freakin' easy.

Both Carabosse and Cirein-croin are absolute jokes. Harder than a salvage chariot with a group of 6-8, but no where approaching "difficult". Provided you've been focusing on Cirein-croin rather than AF3 +1 seals, there's been plenty of time to farm 20-30 Cirein-croins. Only probelm would be finding suckers to hold the key items for you til you go kill the NM.

Well like Arcsol was saying holy shit that poor LS if they farmed that up in that short of a time. Again SE really really needs to reconsider the way they make these epic weapons.

Well, SAM's requirement is relatively tame considering carabosse only need 2 prereq NM and same goes for the Cirein Croin

Wildfire testing:

Comparing it to Leaden Salute on COR/RDM on Peapuks this WS is fucking golden. It's a direct improvement on Leaden and the enmity on this particular WS is low enough to sneak some 1300+ Wildfires without having the monster even bat an eye.

Offhand, the same modifiers come into play as Leaden and it even seems to make the same skillchains though im not done quite testing that. Overall, im impressed with this weaponskill, it's no Numbing Shot for sure.

Why because otherwise people with relics/mythics will be butthurt? Oh no... Maybe the whole 1% of the 1% of relic/mythic owners that actually give a shit should threaten to quit or write a petition. Seriously the majority of players probably want a cool looking weapon like that for the appearance alone. SE was stupid to make another relic.

So, its basically leaden salute +1? assuming this isnt better than slug or numbing...even if it was better i'd still use det/numbing/slug because numbing looks sick :3

SE wasn't stupid for making another relic. It keeps people playing. Its a smart business choice for the ending of a games life span. Saying another relic is stupid is like saying magian trials are stupid. Keep people playing, keep people paying, that is all they have ever cared about. If these weapons were any easier , we'd all get one and move onto 14 cause we have nothing left to do.

This isn't the place to really argue about this but you're wrong SE would and does make more money of casual players. The current group of players are the same and almost all of them bought the 3 mini add ons which were extremely laid back content. Not to say that harder content is bad but everyone is going to buy almost any content at this point. You're talking about maybe 1% of the players that stay for extremely hardcore content like relics. It's terrible design. That's all I have to say in regard to this matter, bye.

Umekiyo is pretty hardcore. It was made possible by doing abyssea runs almost every day to farm triggers out of gold chests- or ocassionally doing nm's to complete the pops.. Then 2-3 times a week doing 3-6 carabosse pops in a row. Generally with a pickup group doing #1/#2 for subligar/bandana/h2h.

On the final stage it was almost daily runs in Misareaux. Almost all of the cirein-croin was done with overflow time and a cost of 0-stones lol.

Grats Ume!!! As far as we know he's the first 85 Empyrian- not like it matters. Just nice to have it... Makes me sad how much it owns my Amano- and how freaking easy these new Empyrian weapons are compared to old relics+trials to make them comparable (lvl 80-85).

Did you happen to notice if bullet damage factored? I know it doesn't for Leaden.
