I mean, it wouldn't surprise me just reading the description of the WS. It is a 2 hit, RR and KJ are 3 hit.... that just about settles it. On multi hit ws, SE don't usually make the ftp of the first hit that much higher or lower than 1.0, so it would be really hard to make up for that 50% more hit with modifier etc. And I call that randomly double the damage BS, doesn't he own the gimp version? I see nowhere on the description about double damage.

The first hit is almost certainly not 1 fTP, or he'd never be able to reach 1400 damage. It would require over 100 damage from modifiers, and his gear set doesn't have it. And yeah, I think he's also mistaking the weaponskill's irregular damage for "random doubling." Assuming it has one high-fTP hit and one additional hit, two chances to DA, and all swings can crit, this should be pretty much the least consistent WS in the game... somewhat amusing, considering the only two we can see are within 10 damage of each other.

Well, if he DAed twice and critted four times then the first hit could be 1 fTP even without mods. We need him to test this if we want to know how good it actually is. It could be anything right now.

He has a normal melee swing in between the two WS in log that doesn't crit.

Just did an einherjar T1 w/CCL and parsed it for him. Got Doomed Flesh as our wave; CCL's Fudos parsed out as follows (lowest to highest):

    Spoiler: show
    2118
    2136
    2137
    2144
    2181
    2333
    2338
    2377
    2144
    2181
    2333
    2338
    2377
    2395
    2395
    2541
    2608
    2653
    2665
    2730
    2750
    2773
    3549

That's an average of 2508.35, for those keeping score. Yeah. He won the parse.

This was with COR+DRK+WAR in his pt, receiving Chaos Roll and Fighter's Roll. The 3549 outlier was on the 1st mob so I'm guessing that was the 2nd (200+ TP) WS. Probably can't do much in terms of calculations with this, because of the variability of Chaos Roll (along with other buffs), but thought it was worthy of a holy crap.

Don't doomed have a slashing bonus though? You'd have to also factor that in.

Him + 1 Sam, probably didn't use food, wouldn't surprise me if he forgot Berserk or something (used restraint without charging it at all...), I'd say 1400 is pretty respectable for that.

Well, the WAR and DRK in his party should also be getting slashing bonus, as well as any job that isn't DRG/RNG/MNK/DNC there.
Numbers of the overall parse could also be skewed due to the removal of weapon defenses through Banish.

At 85 my Garuda costs me 0 mp and that's without using Avatar's Favor. I'm not sure I want to do another Avatar staff though. Avatar killshot trials are so gay.
    What backpiece is that?

For reference, I was the DRK in that party, and my guillotine numbers (on the doomed mobs only) ran from 1139 to 2250 with an avg if 1736. My DRK is nothing too special and I was playing around with a Magnus Scythe (91 base damage), so I could have certainly done more, but my top WS's were also with SE/LR up. I'm Elvaan, no STR merits, ate red curry, WS in heca head/jtorque/brutal/abyssal/e.body/af1+1 hands/rajas/vulcan's/AF2 back/Warwolf/AF3+1 legs/AF1+1 feet. The war in the party, not at all poorly geared, averaged 1629 on RR.

Banish was not cast throughout the run.

Obviously this isn't quantitative, but it certainly supports the math suggesting that Fudo is unbelievable.

Just from reading the data, first of all, if your guillotine average 1736, even with SE up occasionally, with a dmg 91 weapon, that is about right, meaning if you use a 120+ damage weapon, it would be around 2.2-2.3k. I have no idea how your other warriors average so low on RR, warrior with the right GA, should average much higher than a drk with 91 dmg scythe. I mean, I am using OAT scythe with 90 base damage, so I know my guillotine is usually 3/4 of the damage of those that uses max damage scythe. And RR or KJ should always do more than guillotine, which puts his average about right in par with RR or KJ, which is around 200-300 more. You are overreacting a bit, warriors usually pwn parses in Einherjar regardless so it is not shocking that he did, not cuz of the WS.

A: The guy talking is talking about Fudo, not Gaxe warrior.
B: Adding +30% base weapon damage is NOWHERE NEAR +30% damage done. You quite clearly have no clue how the math on this works.
C: Yaya relic, etc. I've never once seen a warrior win a parse ;p

A: If he is talking about Fudo, then I am sorry cuz he did not mention that.
B: I fully understand how modifier and fstr dilutes the overall weight of weapon base damage in a WS damage formula. I should have said it is about 20-25%. For some reason I kept thinking 3/4 as in 25% more.....
C: Just because you haven't seen it so it doesn't happen... I can show you about a million of those parses what does that mean? Do you not agree warrior is pretty much the most broken DD job there is outside of difficult mobs?

A: I guess you'd have to keep up with the last page of the thread. A lot to ask, I know.
B: Bit closer, but closer to 20 than 25, I'd think. Too lazy and don't care enough to do the math.
C: Nonrelic War with high buffs > Nonrelic Sam with high buffs. Relic Sam > Relic war, regardless of buff situation, imo. Fudo sam > ???everything???

I was talking about Fudo, and only brought up the specifics of my DRK and the WAR in the pt to address the comment regarding how other slashing DD's did in the same parse. Being too lazy to quote, I evidently caused some minor confusion. Certainly a GKT SAM that can routinely put out WS numbers at or above what an elite level WAR can produce (on einherjar-wave-difficulty mobs, at least), is at least a little bit eye-opening.

A: oh wow, already said sorry, i didn't know I have to be 100% right on everything, no idea who CCL is btw, missed the last sentence on that other post so I said I was sorry.
B: your too lazy to do the math is really the same reason how I was just ballparking it, while you hold others to a very high standard, maybe others enjoy the more casual math crunching like you too. Also broke down the thought process and knowledge of the damage formula, so I am not sure what else you want me to say other than I am sorry for the casual math.
C: It sure looks that way now. Tho I don't know how that has anything to do with warrior being broken. Unless you are comparing their relic weapons, then I am sure everyone will tell you that Amano is the better choice.

Yea, I am sorry, missed the last sentence. It is eye popping now that I know we are talking about Fudo. Sorry about that.

BTW, for the "finder" of the magic haste cap, why is it you don't have said cap correct?
